My wife & I recently attended El Batan for the 1st time. The food was delicious, portions were generous, and the service was excellent. Nice twist from the typical local cuisine.
Delicious! Was very accommodating with a request for a vegetarian meal. Plantains we’re super yummy too! Wonderful staff - was a pleasure hearing their story and we appreciate them bringing Peruvian cuisine to the Hickory area! We will be back! Highly recommend :-) - Adriano and Katie Lamboglia

I tried El Batán Restaurant last week with a group of people and I cannot say enough good things about the food and the restaurant! This place is a hidden gem; and everyone said their food was fabulous! I have to agree! I had a Pisco Sour (a traditional Peruvian cocktail) and the Picante de Camarones as my entree off the A La Carte menu. It came with rice and was very satisfying and absolutely delicious!
