Fajita quesadilla with steak is awesome. They use top quality meats. Service is great too.

My first and last time eating here. Nothing about our food resembled authentic Mexican food.The beans didn't taste like beans, the chicken and half melted cheese on the enchiladas smelled/tasted sour. The salsa didn't taste fresh at all - it tasted like it sat out all day and came from a jar. Our plates looked like one sloppy mess.We asked for boxes, paid our bill and found the nearest trash can to get rid of the awful smell radiating from the bag. Then we went to another restaurant and had a delicious meal.The place was clean & the waitress was very attentive/nice. That was the only positive about our visit.DO NOT EAT HERE.

I rarely give less than 4 stars, but this place is another story... my family and I went here and tried it. The food was sub-par, no flavor our server didn't even pay attention to what was being said by each person who was ordering. The server didn't know how to answer the questions each member of the party asked. When we ordered even telling them how we wanted our order they asked immediately after how we wanted the item (i.e. what type of beers and didn't know anything about the beer that was shown in the business, or what type of filling every time.) I will never eat here again.

This was a place I use to go years ago and we were riding by and I thought that I haven’t been there in a long time that we should go. Bad choice, the food was not good and the waitress’s were clueless to anything going on in the restaurant. None us were happy with the food we got and we all usually like Mexican. My kids food looked like it had a bite out of the side of it and then I was done. Will never be going back and I was hoping it was good like I remembered but it is definitely not what it used to be. Best advice, go elsewhere.

Let's start with the positive, the sweet tea and the canned beer was very good. The service was okay, friendly anyhow. The food however was terrible and we should have known when asking our waitress as I frequently do on the first visit, what her go-to meal was and she replied the chicken fingers. The salsa was canned tomatoes without really any spices, everything was very covered up with cheese and tasteless beyond cheese. That's it. Nothing else to say. Go somewhere else, anywhere has to be better than here.

At first glance Max's may look a bit run down on the outside, however the beautiful cacti outside really really begin your experience. Once you walk inside it feels a bit small, though this isn't a bad thing, the wait staff is very friendly, and near by in case you need anything. The decor is very typical of a hometown Mexican restaurant, though not overly as to feel tacky, it sets a nice atmosphere and prepares you for the food to come. The chips come out quick and are fresh and hot, the salsa has just the right amount of spice and acidic kick. I went with the sweet tea, and as far as southern sweet tea goes, it hits the spot. I ordered the A.C.P (Arroz Con Pollo) and it was very delicious, the food here is very Americanized, most things come covered in cheese, but is that really a bad thing? The food came out quickly, was hot, and very well seasoned. All in all this is a very good restaurant for a quick meal to satisfy that craving for Mexican food! Good food, friendly staff, reasonable prices.
Ordered the lunch fajitas which was delicious as usual. I got chicken and beef and all the ingredients for a very satisfying meal. Comes with salsa and chips and plenty of tea refills
