I ordered the steak and eggs with eggs scrambled soft. Steak was small filet split down the middle ( so thin) no seasonings but good. I asked for eggs soft but came out hard. The steak was supposed to be medium well, but it was well. The potatoes were room temperature. It’s a lovely establishment, the dessert (chocolate cake) delicious. Mixed drinks absolutely good. The food could be fresher at brunch. Taste more like buffet food.

My ABSOLUTE favorite place to visit in Hickory anytime I can. It's hard to know where to even start with the compliments. The staff goes above & beyond to address all of your wants & needs, after the first time of seeing you there they try their best to put a name to the face & treat customers like family. There is a huge amount of outdoor seating for a beautiful day & big umbrellas incase the weather isn't exactly to your liking. We LOVE bringing our golden to the outdoor seating for bottomless mimosas that are only $20 & served in HUGE wine glasses. The indoor area consists of 2 floors both decorated as cute as a button, very southern hospitality style. The food options are unique & taste incredible. Do not go to, drive by, or go near Hickory NC without stopping at Notions!

Had a class reunion at Notions last night on the top floor...beautifully decorated, the food was incredible, the staff are out of this world! Special Thanks to Chuck Spaller, Laurel Jenkins, Logan and a shout out to the bar staff from all the Fred T. Foard alumni!!! The brunch at Notions is incredible. Love the bottomless mimosas, you can choose from different flavors other than just orange juice and they allow you to mix them together if you want. I ate the Smothered Open-Faced Biscuit and it is by far the best brunch meal I’ve ever had. My boyfriend loved the Shrimp & Grits.
