Absolutely loved this place! The food and service were phenomenal! Jordan was out waiter and if you go, ask for him, you will get excellent service. I even stopped and told the manager how awesome he was. We got calamari, raw oysters, and the steamed seafood bucket. The calamari is some of the best I have ever had, the oyster melted in your mouth, and the items in the bucket were seasoned and cooked well. If you love seafood, this is a must!! ❤️

Ate lunch here at 11:30. The food was fine, the view not so much. Had a waitress in training that was wearing clothing sure not fit for a family restaurant. Not body shaming here but when a big belly is sticking out from under a shirt that is way to small and yoga pants worn low that were to tight as well this is sure an appetite suppressant. If I walked in the door and saw this again I would leave immediately. This is also a reflection on management to have employees without proper attire to wait on the public. Would have rated higherbut this was inappropriate as well as not professional. This waitress would not wait tables anywhere else like that but a bad biker bar.

My first visit....I will be back. Excellent service from one waitress handling the entire restaurant and bar herself. Food was delivered quickly and was nice and hot. The fries are made there and some of the tastiest I have had in a long time, the crab cake, although not Maryland lump crab, was a nice size on a perfectly toasted bun with lettuce and tomato and a special sauce. It came with a nice coleslaw and your choice of a side. My friend had the fish and chips. The cod was a nice thickness and lightly battered and fried. It was moist, and he enjoyed it. I am looking forward to going back and experiencing the Oyster po'boy.

My friend and I wanted to try someplace new. Loving shellfish we decided on Shuckin Shake. Upon walking in, we loved the ambience and general atmosphere. Soft music, tvs entertaining bar patrons, and laughter from a table of birthday revelers. The server was extremely welcoming and friendly. We got oysters on half shell, wild American shrimp and fish tacosl Everything tastes fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting and do plan to return asap.

Excellent experience. We got a flounder basket and a shrimp basket each with fries and a side of hush puppies. Grace did an excellent job and checked on us just enough and kept my husband’s Diet Coke refilled. He would have given them 5 stars but their special on Monday night is a select IPA but they were out of IPA and did not offer him another choice for the $3 price.

Excellent place to catch some great seafood and watch a game at the bar on a cold winter night. This was my second visit here, and I enjoyed it like last time. I went with the jalapeño Oysters and Garlic Parmesan Oysters as my main meal, and my wife got the Mahi Mahi tacos. Also, order the crab dip, you can't go wrong with it. Everything was excellent. We will definitely be back.

The steamed oysters were great (reminding me of when I lived on the coast) and the Cape Fear Nachos were delicious. The Macaroni Cheese Bites were so-so, but I found them to be tasty with the ranch dip that came with it. My girlfriend found the Greppa (?, the lobster sandwich) to be okay, but she would have preferred it more if it was hot/warm. Their Sunday and Monday oysters specials are worth it if you want to eat your fill otherwise you're looking at a variable market price. Today it was $3/ea. if you didn't eat the house oysters that were going for $1/ea.My two biggest issues were: 1) that since I was shucking my own oysters it would have been better if they were cleaned better. I ordered a peck and at least half of them still had mud on them in places. A little more time rinsing them with a water hose would be nice. 2) Our waiter could have been a bit more attentive to my girlfriend. He kept my drink filled, but she went a long while with an empty glass and was socializing with another coworker.

Visiting from Los Angeles, first time here. We came in and asked LeAnn , (who was super sweet and helpful) for recommendation, decided to go with a dozen of James Rivers Raw oysters $3 each - very fresh and sweet! They were delivered just that morning. Ordered the Low Country Boil - which was a perfect size for me and my sister. I also ordered the lobster roll , to split because well why not? An IPA for me and a Shucking Shack drink for sis to wash it down with and we were happy as clams:) This place is such a jam! If I lived there, it would be my regular go to spot! Love the atmosphere. Sports Bar with an excellent fresh and quite elaborate seafood menu! Everything was cooked to perfection! And I am not easy to please! Noticed how young the chefs working the kitchen were - Chris (head chef) is 26 y.o and the front manager (who was not there) is 21y.o. I asked LeAnn about the owner of the restaurant. His name is Brian Rogers, apparently a great boss to work for, he also owns East Coast restaurant. Wish I could try the rest of the menu! Next time! Thank you LeAnn and chefs

First time at the Shuck'in Shack but will not be the last. The steamed mussels were amazing. The fried oysters were lightly fried and tender. The raw oysters were salty as they should be and tasted amazing. The fried pickles were super crunchy. The wait staff were attentive and the food came out really quickly!Kid-friendliness: Should be able to find something for even the pickiest of eaters.Parking: Good parking

The Pell n eat shrimp was on sale so I took a pound home for dinner .. they were so plump and juicy ! The crab dip and toasted bread was a winner as well! I had the blackened scallops and cold crab dip. The scallops were ok the issue was portion, the menu says sharing but how can you share 3 scallops. Crab dip was not enjoyable. Very disappointing.

I've only ever gotten the raw oysters here and I've never been disappointed. Most of the time, the lower quality oysters will have pea crabs in them. If you don't eat raw oysters regularly, then you may find them unappealing but they are safe to eat. They also have a good mixed drink selection and a really good bloody Mary. On Sunday's, raw oysters are $1 each. Every other day they are market price depending on the selection or $16/doz for house oysters.

Not a lot of variety. Tried it but not sure how I feel about it. My hubs and I went in on a Friday afternoon and it was very quiet and they only had like 1 other couple for customers so service was fast. Food was ok. I had the Greggah with fries. It was good but smaller than what I expected. My hubby got the wings with shrimp and it was ok.

I ate steamed oysters and crab legs. They were delicious. The oysters were a good size. Hushpuppies were good. Great service. Good price. I was in town for a conference but found a location only 30 mins from my home. Can't wait to go back.Parking: Plenty of parking.
