Carolina Red Café is one of my favorite coffee shops! Rodney is always there to meet you with a smile and is very accommodating. Service is quick and the coffee is delicious! There are snacks and usually some homemade goodies if you’re looking for a snack. If you’re looking for a quick gift idea or something new for yourself, he’s got you covered! There are various handmade items ranging from earrings to bath soaps. Definitely worth the try if you’ve never checked it out!

Carolina Red Cafe aka "Carol In A Red Cafe" (in honor of the owner's mother) is a hidden gem tucked in the old mall. Rodney opened this coffee bar to serve kindness, compassion, fellowship and coffee (and a variety of snacks) about 1.5 years ago but we just stumbled up this after searching Maps for local coffee. We enjoyed both the conversation and vanilla lattes! I respect that Rodney gives back to the community and encourage you to enjoy a hot cup of coffee while supporting his mission!

Had to drop off something at the DMV located in the old Westchester Mall and noticed a coffee shop in the former Orange Julius. I am a s***** for coffee so I gave it a chance. Carolina Red Café is a gem! The owner Rodney has set up a simple place that honors God and his mother whom the establishment is named after. He is also an incredibly friendly guy with a wonderful personality. The coffee was phenomenal. I got his House Blend which tasted reminiscent of a dark roast without the bitterness or acidity. It is very smooth tasting and we wound up talking so much that I drank two cups. He has tons of options for flavors and additions depending on dietary restrictions, but I just drink black coffee. The shop also has local baked goods (I bought my wife a slice of the Strawberry Pound Cake which she said was amazing.), tons of snack options (I got a Chomps Grass Fed/Finished Beef Stick which was super clean.), and other local handmade products like celebratory cards (birthday, etc) and candles. This is definitely the best coffee in the High Point or Thomasville area. I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop by and support the Carolina Red Café!
