I booked a trip to China, then I had to cancel due to the cost. After the vacation disapppoint, I decided to bring the China to the US. The meal was $15. Lunch special #35.Absolutely delicious. Shocked at the negative reviews.

I have been frequenting Chu's Express for as long as I can remember! They have been a staple for myself and my family. In fact, prior to my visit today; I was standing talking with a good friend about their favorite go to take out in High Point and she as well said Chu's. The sesame chicken comes out golden crispy and taste delicious each and every time! I normally place my order once I arrive and normally wait no more than 10-15 minutes to have one of the best deals/combination meals around. All around more food for the buck, and it's great. This is a take out only location, so you won't be able to dine in, but if you love authentic Chinese cuisine, this is a hot spot in High Point to get it and has remained so for decades.

We were craving Chinese food tonight, and decided to order takeout from Chu's. This is our first time trying them. Upon calling to place my order, the two people I spoke with were very kind and helpful. Our food was made in a timely manner. My husband utilized their drive thru for pickup. He mentioned to me that the staff was friendly and that what he could see of the inside looked clean and well kept. We ordered the egg drop soup, sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein. Everything was very tasty. Meat was good quality and cooked well. Portions were just right. We were very pleased and will keep this establishment in mind when we are in the mood for Chinese takeout! I forgot to take pictures of the food, but did snap some photos of the takeout menu.

Good Chinese takeout, made better if you give special instructions (I e., HOT). Use the chownow app.

I blame myself for eating here. I normally pay attention to the reviews but this time I was rushing and I'm now upset with myself. I was charge almost $18 for 6 wings and rice and egg roll. No drink. The chicken taste bland no seasoning. The white sauce is just yum yum sauce from out the store. I sat on the phone ordering and asking questions for about 10 mins the little girls they have working there never told me that I had a option to pick shrimp rice but just assumed I wanted pork rice. The owner(I guess) came out when he heard me ask the girls about the shrimp rice and all he said was" next time ask" and never offered to change my rice or anything. I don't eat pork. So they assumed I wanted pork egg roll and pork fried rice. Terrible customer service and Terrible food. Not sure why they are still open. I traveled across the city to get this disgusting food because the place near my house was closed. Everyone go and try Hibachi and Wings in 5 points. They have different flavored wings. My favorite is lemon pepper (the best I ever had). They have 10 piece $14.99 with rice and a drink. Well worth your money trust me. I recommend no one to ever go to this nasty place Chu's Express needs to be closed or have new workers.

Very disappointed in this meal. A large vegetable lo mein, a large shrimp, lo mein, and a large pepper steak was almost $53. The lo mien was about par to anywhere else. And the pepper steak, that was ordered with no green peppers also had no onions. It was meat and some sort of thick dark brown gravy, and was inedible. And you have to love they stacked all of these heavy paper court containers on top of one another that collapsed, the meat and gravy in the bottom so you can imagine the mess.I called the restaurant back twice, and there was no answer. . When I called the next day, I was put on hold. No one came back to the phone. I called again left my name with someone for the manager to call and never received a call back. It was Monday night and no other Chinese restaurants in our area were open, so I drove to High Point to receive what I consider to be one of the worst meals I’ve ever gotten!!

Not too bad. Basic American Chinese food. Looks to be to go only. I needed a quick bite so I popped in for some ala-cart sesame chicken. It was crispy and delicious. I think I'll be back to enjoy more of their items.

Peaceful Journey

I ordered their sweet and sour chicken combination. After picking up the order and driving back to work, I realized they didn't provide any sweet and sour sauce only dry chicken. Work was busy and I didn't have time to go back to the restaurant. They also overcharged me.
