Tried Dragon City the other night for the first time and was really impressed! I'm vegan, so I'm always looking for local restaurants with plant-based options, so I was shocked when my mom found an entirely vegetarian Chinese restaurant in High Point that I hadn't even heard of! I got the General Tso's 'chicken' combo, and my mom got the General Tso's Tofu combo. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and both the tofu and 'chicken' had a great texture and were fried crispy. The fried rice that comes with the combo is a little plain, but the 'chicken' egg roll was great. She's not vegan and still enjoyed the food. We ate our food at one of the tables inside because we didn't want our food to get cold on the drive home since we came from Greensboro, and while it was definitely more of a takeout restaurant, the employees were kind so we didn't feel uncomfortable eating there at all. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu! It's so exciting to have an all vegetarian Chinese restaurant in our area!

I was so disappointed in the food here. I didn't even eat that night after tasting everything. On a vegan challenge I chose Dragon City for dinner. Should've gone with my vibes and passed. Ordering was disastrous. The young lady that spoke English well was half in and half out as she was taking a personal call and the lady trying to take my order seemed limited in understanding. It was painful, but we pushed through. We got home to what they called general tsos chicken and vegetable lo mein with egg rolls. The egg rolls were ok. Lo mein was flavorless. Had no life. No love. The general tso's chicken was awful. The fake chicken was not cooked properly, hard to chew and the sauce was runny and accumulated at the bottom of the container. I wasn't expecting the excellent food I had at a vegetarian restaurant in Chinatown, NYC, but I definitely expected better. They really need to step their game up to meet the potential of a vegan/vegetarian Chinese spot. Great concept, terrible execution. This food will make you give up on all vegan ambitions

The greeter was very nice and the order was ready on time. Once I got it home, the chicken entree turned out to be a beef entree, and the chicken skewers were extremely dry and hard. The egg rolls were just tasteless. A wasted trip and meal, and, of course, the expense. Half of the restaurant area was blocked off with delivery boxes and I think the bathroom was not accessible and the two tables were in an "L" shape crunched together. My order was being bagged, and rather than finish it, I was asked to move so the person that came in after me could have her order taken. VERY disappointing. No second trip for us, and certainly no recommendation to family and friends.

Just ordered. Our food isn’t fresh, my sesame chicken is like rubber, the rice is hard and dry, and the chicken and broccoli smells like dog food no lie. The chicken in it looks like dog food as well. The whole meal is a total loss. I will not be returning and honestly want my money back.

Thrilled. That's how I felt when I heard we had a vegetarian Chinese restaurant in High Point. No, I'm not completely vegetarian, but I do like to try new things and I do like to eat more meat substitutes and vegetables when I can. I ordered online through their website and that was very easy. It only gave me the option for a 45 minute wait time, but that could just be the website. Had I called, I'm sure it would have been faster. I ordered the Vegetarian chicken with mixed vegetables, my sister ordered steamed dumplings and Vegetable soup with tofu, my mom got the Vegetarian beef with snow peas, and my dad got the Spicy shredded vegetarian beef. I loved mine. Loved it! My mom, who doesn't often like meat substitutes preferred mine as well, but I tried hers and it was tasty too. The dumplings were delicious and the spicy beef was also quite tasty. The price is about consistent with other Chinese restaurants and the menu is the same as well, except anything with meat is a meat substitute. I like supporting this restaurant and hope others will try it too. They have impeccable Covid safety measures and are closed on Wednesdays. There is no seating inside the restaurant, as they are takeout only. Please consider supporting local and vegetarian.

The sesame chicken was hard, the egg drop soup did not taste good and the fried noodles were so hard, you could barely bite into them. I won't be ordering from here again.

This place is small and is good for take out. The menu is 100% vegetarian and the food is amazing. They use soy based "meats" and it tastes really good. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken and really enjoyed it. Please give them a try. It is a healthier option to the other Chinese fast food places. I highly recommend.

One of my favorite restaurants! We eat here at least once a week. Always delicious and everyone is so nice. Love the vegan options!

Great tasting food, wide variety of choices on the menu, good prices for the portions, leftovers still tasty next day, menu labeled clearly between vegan and vegetarian, lots of ample and easy parking - NICE! We got fried scallops, Singapore mai fun, sesame chicken, chicken lo mein, beef with tofu. Top favs were the beef with tofu (liked the seasoning on the tofu) and chicken lo mein. Followed by sesame chicken and fried scallops. Taste is subjective though so give a variety of dishes a try and see your own favs! ;) I also love the wholesome reason they made the switch to being a vegetarian-only restaurant earlier this year is because of environmental reasons. Thanks for making a difference Dragon City! :)

Very nice customer service, but the food had no taste. We knew it was vegetarian but hope for at least some flavor. Would not recommend
