I'm not going to lie, I secretly love J&S. It takes me back to my childhood going to, shhhh, K&W Cafeteria with my grandparents. I love the variety of seemingly home cooked meals and side dishes. I typically get a veggie plate or some grilled chicken or grilled fish, depending on the day. They have something for everyone and it's a great option for my kids. They love the jello. Haha The prices can't be beaten and the customer service is on target. They are always so nice to help me carry the food to the table when I have both of my toddler girls by myself. This single momma appreciates that more than they know! I will keep on coming to J&S for lunch when I'm at the palladium area. No, it's not a 5 star restaurant but it's consistently good.

This is the second time that I have eaten here- We used to live near the friendly shopping center ( K and W )- But I will admit that this location blows away any K and W on quality of the food and especially the service - I asked the waitress if we could get a table for 6 and she made sure that we had a table. We went thru the line and needed someone to carry a tray for my mom- she uses a walker. That was very nice of her. As we ate the food everyone was surprised that the food was nice quality - hot and fresh - We will recommend this location to others. Merry Christmas and happy new year.

We have eat here a few times over the years! And I’ve had many experiences with “good” cafeteria food growing up on K&W. Tonight our food was cold and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Nothing about it at all was fresh and for 20 bucks could of expected better quality.

Don't order the scallops. Ordered today and waited forever for order to arrive. When I asked about the delay, was told the scallops were still frozen. Did not tell me that when I ordered. Did not tell me when I paid. Scallops were mushy and terrible. If they have something other menu, they should prepared to make it. That was clearly not the case today. We have been good customers of theirs. May not go back.

Not very much food in a take out tray for the cost.. like servers were scared to fill the little cups on styrofoam containers. CRAZY! Chicken livers were WAY OVER COOKED… DRY & Hard (cut into small pieces) dry Enough to choke you if not drinking something to moisten them to swallow… hard but like rocks once cooled off… Salmon patties - Also OVER COOKED & DRY also…Live & Learn - Learned I do not intend to return here.. can only imagine how dry chicken really was… it looked it that’s why selected salmon…NOT MY PREFERENCE BY ANY MEANS
The food was ok. The insistence on wearing a mask could have been handled much better by someone in management. The employees behind the counter were not the ones to complain to each other and then to the customers.

My husband and I stopped by for dinner around 4:15So disappointedHis grilled chicken was dry and cold. Roasted potatoes too salty and cold. Green beans were good. Garlic bread was cold and when he picked it up there was a hair on the plate. Yuck!!!!My green beans were good. Mac+ cheese was ok hot but not alot of flavor. Mashed potatoes were hot but the gravy tasted burntChocolate cream pie was very bitter and the crust was not cooked. The bottom was very doughy and the cream filling had separated from the crust. Tea was good. What a waste of our 22.00Lesson learned!!!! I think everything was left from lunch . Nothing looked fresh

Utterly DIGUSTING! How they have 4 stars is unbelievable to me. I ordered turkey and dressings and got a glob of mystery meat covered in weird tasteless sauce . Pinto beans were straight from the can....but the topper is that it was my first time there and I tipped $10 to thank them for screwing me. DONT DO IT!

I love coming to J&S Cafeteria simply because it's always great food and fantastic customer service. My father and I stopped in today to grab a quick bite before heading down to Thomasville and were pleased with our visit, as always. Daddy got the country style steak with mashed potatoes, green beans, and a slice of sweet potato pie. I got the chopped steak, mashed potato, and a slice of the Boston cream pie. We both had sweet tea and let me tell you...the tea was just right! I'm always trying new things here and the food never disappoints. This place is very similar to K&W which is great for us because we love K&W too. If you're in High Point and looking for some great food to fill your hungry stomach, stop on by J&S and enjoy! You'll see what I mean.
