Moved to the HP area in July and can’t believe I just now stopped into The Budding Artichoke. It’s a great little organic grocery with friendly people and a small but well thought out collection of goods. I wandered around and wanted to buy quite a few items but limited myself to some salad greens, mangos, and rosemary bread. Looking forward to getting some weekly staples here and supporting local businesses! Great place :)

What a cute new grocer. Found Mawmaw’s Chicken Potpies, wonder coffee and beautiful fresh produce. High Point foodies check it out.

We love the new location in High Point! We stopped in today and got some apples and radishes- we can't make the grand opening tomorrow. We wish you all the best and continued success!! Ron and Jan

If you hadn't noticed from my multiple pictures over the last few weeks, I'm a bit obsessed with The Budding Artichoke. It used to be Swede Bread and has changed a lot inside, but it houses some amazing products. Here you can find local veggies, homemade bread, local dairy products and meat, honey, fresh ground meal and flour, spices, Foster Hobbs coffee, and the list goes on. All local, I repeat, all local. This means a lot right now considering the state of our world. The inside foyer is a bit of a mess, but keep on walking and I know that you'll be glad you did. Let's support this local mom and kids that own and run it.

My sister and I have been coming here for the past couple of weeks and have really loved supporting local. The Budding Artichoke is filled with various food items from local farmers and vendors. I have loved getting the fresh bread, local dairy products, and fresh vegetables we cook with weekly. There is always something new to try as they rotate with what is most fresh and in season. I love that this is a family owned and run business and hope other people will support them also. Please go check them out and support local however you can!

Thank you, The Budding Artichoke, for keeping me supplied with my favorite chicken pies, honey, pickles, and fresh local produce. Oh, and did I mention the homemade bread!

Great country store, great place to stock your pantry or buy gifts: soaps, lotion, infused honey, local produce, fresh cow's milk, ice cream, nuts, and other wonderful treats. A lovely place to come in from the cold. Thank you, Budding Artichoke!
