This High Point spot calls to mind Potent Potables in Jamestown albeit with coffee and a smaller beer selection. Unlike PP or The Brewer’s Kettle, however, Cork and Grind is open early (8 or 9 a.m., depending on the day), which makes it a great morning coffee option if you don’t mind limited choices. I’ve tried several of their rotating coffee drinks (most recently, a banana mocha latte and a cookies-and-cream frozee) and have not been disappointed. They use full review
I wish I could give them 6 stars! Truly. The owners are very hospitable, very kind. The service I received as a pop up vendor and as a customer was beyond amazing. I was able to enjoy two of their coffee drinks while I was there and they were both very delicious. The Banana Mocha Latte was very yummy! I also love chai lattes and their iced dirty chai really did it for me. Both had just the right amount of sweetness. I look forward to visiting them again and trying more of full review
I must admit it was the food truck parked outside Cork and Grind that brought me to the wine a coffee bar. I don't do coffee or wine. I know. Judge me. This was a nice clean establishment. The set up was chyll and definitely a nice spot to converse or just relax solo with a beverage. Service was good and masks were worn. My crew also said the dirty chai latte (the espresso made it dirty) was not too sweet and delicious. I'm guessing that's why a second round was ordered. If full review
