Food was just ok. Lamb gyro meat was quite salty. The lamb gyro platter was just kind of a pile of hummus with some sliced vegetables underneath and strips of gyro meat on top. The babaganoush was excellent and the pita bread was quite good!

I like this place. When I'm in Hillsborough and I'm craving a gyro, this is where I go. The downside to this place is that the staff isn't even remotely friendly; they actually come off as rude and condescending but they'll make you your food, you'll pay and you'll be on your way. No need for small talk.The food is very good and the prices are decent, considering it's 2024 and we live in inflation land.

If you are looking for an authentic NY hero or Philly, this isn't the place. It's not terrible, but it's not good either. There really isn't much to the "service". They hand you a sub dripping in mayo and only give you 1 napkin. They will give you another if you ask, but to be honest, you really need about 5. The atmosphere is pretty dreary unless, of course they were going for a minimalist vibe, in which case they nailed it. I've tried the place twice just to be able to give a fair review. I may try once more because I noticed they have a middle eastern menu as well and that may be more authentic than their Italian menu.

Do yourself a favor and get the chicken kabob platter! I don't get the salad because I don't care for the toppings on Greek salad, but I'm sure it's delicious for the ones who like it! I got this dish THREE DAYS IN A ROW because it was so delicious! The pita is amazing, the tzatziki is fresh, the rice is seasoned, and the chicken is tender and juicy. Now I want some lol.

Terrible service and food . I didn't expect fine dining service but a simple hello would've been nice. I ordered a Chicken Philly and and what I received as a boiled chicken sub. After one bite I threw it in the trash.

The Gyro platter did not have any slices of meat and had only little crescent shaped meat. Wife’s chicken over pasta was barely warm and inedible.Definitely an experience and not one that I’ll repeat. Good Riddance!

Italian sub was absolutely delicious, cheese steak just as delicious..I would prefer the wings be fried a little hotter to become more crispy...but the flavor was good...also would like the wings to come with more sauce on them...I would highly recommend American Hero.

Terrible customer service. While I'm Hillsboro delivering packages for work I stopped in because I wasn't feeling well and needed to put something on my stomach and to grab a cup of ice. I waited at the register for 5 mins before the gentleman behind the counter came to take my order. From there I purchased a gyro the gentleman had a sour attitude and yet I paid him no attention. I then asked for a cup of ice and was told it would be a dollar. That plus the amount for the sandwich would've been the same as me getting a combo. So I'm going to be up charged and not get fries. And all for a cup of ice I honestly drink 85% water, 2% juice or soda, 13% alcohol routinely. Not only is that highway robbery but you have to be rude. I was good on the food and cup of ice. I recommend going to the American hero in Durham if your craving is that strong.

We swear every time we go here that we won't return because of the consistent rudeness of the staff. Food is just ok. If you like "just ok" and don't mind a consistently unfriendly to angry guy taking your order....give it a try.

Cleanest restaurant you'll ever visit! Best fountain Dr. Pepper in NC, likely related to the cleanliness (most places don't clean their fountain machines often or well enough). The Mediterranean options are a nice break from burgers, sandwiches, and fried chicken.
