Great location at the foot of the bridge, got some snapper and shrimp. Prices are not bad at all but you may find it a tad cheaper off-island, but this was very convenient. Easy parking, nice folks and a good selection of hats.

I've had a vacation home on Holden Beach for over 30 years and this is by far the best place to buy fresh seafood. I've never bought anything that wasn't of the highest quality. Unlike some other fish mongers in the area, the price of all selections is prominently posted (I've often wondered at these other places if the "price" varies, depending on what they think they can get). Best of all, EVERYONE who works here is friendly and helpful.... and extremely considerate. A few days ago, I called ahead and learned that one of my favorite, whole black bass, was in. I told her I really liked it and would be in later. Even though I didn't specifically ask, she saved me 2 after someone bought all they had. Very thoughtful and completely unexpected.

Quality is good, but supply is down sharply from past year's. Be sure to go there when they first open, as large family dinners quickly empty their display cases. Tuna, mahi mahi, and a couple of snapper fillets were the fish available. Thursdays for grouper and flounder. Shrimp is available too.Friendly staff.
Freshest fish you can buy at Holden Beach—all the seafood has been caught in the last day. Their shrimp and fish (we had flounder, grouper and snapper) were particularly great
