The night we went was bingo night so it was busy and we sat outside. The bang bang shrimp was delicious. We didn't touch the collards and felt bad wasting it. They should offer you more hush puppies instead! Hubby got the shrimp tacos and loved them. I got the filet but it was too charred and crunchy. My side was a baked potato and I added toppings but when the bill came it was an extra $8.50! That means I paid $60 for a steak and potato. We probably won't go back.

This was our first time and food was great and service was with a smile. Hushpuppies are out of this world. I don't care for collards but this was delicious! You can't go wrong with choosing Billfish.

This restaurant was recommended to us. Completely unsatisfied. We had high hopes when the complementary hush puppy muffins and collar greens came out! That was one of the only good things about our meal. We had 3 orders of grouper all orders were over cooked, they charged $6 dollars to substitute sweet potato fries which were on the side order items and they were terrible. The potato lyonnaise was over cooked and under seasoned. The burger that was ordered the bun tasted stale. My son ordered the AYCE crab legs and that was the ONLY thing about our meal that was good! Not to mention our bill was almost $200 and we left completely unsatisfied. In my opinion I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Hands down, the best mahi tacos I've had in the Atlantic Beach area ! Not the usual skimpy portion of fish overwhelmed by pico or slaw, Billfish's version let the mahi be the star ! Two tortilla's filled with generous bites of fish, seasoned and blackened perfectly, with your choice of side for only $18. The wife and I added a garden salad and still spent under $30. Glad to find a place open on Monday here, as March apparently Is still the off-season and many restaurants are closed.

Fantastic meal that the whole family loved. The lobster dip was awesome and I got the soft-shell crab special. My daughters got the burger and chicken tenders and everything was gone.

The food was good. The service was okay. The prices were terribly inflated. I appreciate the economy and support small businesses always but... $110.00 bill for two people. Made the mistake of ordering the special without asking pricing. It was $48.00. The dish included one small piece of grouper and 4 shrimp! On a bed of rice with spinach and peppers. Good but....definitely not worth all that.

We had a great dinner at BILLFISH Grill and Bar. Cindy, Reba and the Bartender could not have nicer or more professional. The atmosphere is "down home" casual Salter Path with friendly dinner guests. My wife noted that the glasses of wine were generous. The filet special with shrimp was great, and it had an excellent mushroom, bacon, and blue cheese sauce. My wife enjoyed the tacos with shrimp. Even the little hush puppy muffins and the collards were terrific. And to complete the meals, the chocolate mouse was chocolatey, creamy, and delicious. After dinner, we participated in the music game and had a lot of fun. Thanks, BILLFISH team!Parking: Parking is plentiful in a small strip of stores.
Tried Billfish for the first time while visiting island this past weekend. Husband wanted fresh seafood & I was craving a burger. Both of us found what we were looking for and it was all great food! Staff was terrific and we ended up staying for music bingo and had a ball!

Stopped at Billfish and loved the food. And the service was outstanding. I loved the apps and tried something new for me, greens and cornbread mini muffins. Great starter. My hubs loved the fried shrimp and I had Bang Bang Shrimp and Blackened Shrimp on my salad. Great choice. Even the ice tea was fab, not sweet, just like I love it. The service is wonderful. Attentive and friendly but not overly. I felt like they were new friends. And They have a great rapport with the other customers coming in to eat. Yep. All good. All delicious. All nice atmosphere. Good food. This is a place we are going to bring Family and we are going to return too!

Talk about overpriced! I had the flounder special which was at most 4 ounces of flounder sitting atop about 2 cups of ordinary rice with a dozen green beans for $46. The food was ordinary, the service indifferent. The waitress came over to chat -- do I need this, really. $14 for a not very good cocktail. If the bill was $20, that would have been appropriate.

Gold stars abound, especially to Cindy, Mike, Cindy’s husband “the cook”… 100% crazy amazing staff!A dear friend from Wilmington came to take me to dinner for my birthday. Original plan got scrapped so snap decision was made to try Billfish. BEST ONE EVER!!!We entered & were treated like esteemed celebrity guests. By the time we were seated and blinked, the most original “welcome” was placed before us … collards and adorable bite sized cornbread muffins … the birthday feast was ON!We drank, we ate, we laughed… EVERYTHING was exceptional. Who would’ve thought… fried okra in your salad? Brussels sprouts that looked like they’d caught on fire were downright fluffy and tastier than any sprout I could’ve imagined. Snow crab legs were a delight, & plentiful (thank you for the extra cluster). We laughed & laughed at the sheer amount of food on the table. (Thank you to whoever washed ALL of those dishes.)Dessert? Of course… it was a birthday celebration after all just no room left so we ordered Key Lime pie AND the chocolate mousse to go… the mousse came in its own GLASS jar! (Both would have won 1st place at any country fair, but I could live on the contents of that jar. Took “delicious” to a whole new level.)The entire experience was so, unexpected… Cindy and Mike were over the top! Every bite could have come from a 5-star eatery.A million thank you’s to Madi for the splurge that made me feel loved & special and the same for the “OMG” outstanding meal.Billfish, you’ve got my vote! You’ll be remembered, and recommended, for a very long time. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
