“Wow? me and my daughter stopped in for some din din and the food was beautiful AND delicious!! The mango sticky rice, chef’s kiss ??‍? we got the strawberry chocolate cake too(my daughter put the carrots on top to be silly) but it was gorgeous! We both got the pho which hit the spot!!“

“This is not a restaurant, it's a private kitchen where the chef prepares in front of the guests 12 different courses of Japanese fusion food and serves with matching wine and sake for maximum 6 guests. That's right the restaurant can sit at most 6 customers. The ingredients come daily from Japan and the food is absolutely delicious. You can guess that the price is extravagant, but it's once in a lifetime experience.“

“I've enjoyed 10+ years of sushi perfection at this fantastic restaurant. I do enjoy dining there if the wait isn't too long but it gets busy early. Takeout is always a good idea. “I ordered the donkatsu and the yellowtail roll for take out.The yellowtail roll was very good, with minimal rice thats not flattened to death like some other places. It perfectly encompassed a large piece of yellowtail that tasted fresh. It was very addictive in taste and mouth feel for me.The donkatsu was breaded and fried perfectly with minimal breading (which i love) surrounding a nice juicy pork cutlet. Also very good.I definitely want to come back to try the other sushi options.“

“I defiantly would like more flavor in the food and maybe shouldn’t have ordered tempura style veggies. I envisioned something else in mind and the batter on the veggies filled me very fast. I ended up giving up on the veggies and went for my sushi roll which was delicious. I love Sake and the bartender recommended a nice smooth one for us. I will go check out other locations in town.“

“Another great spot for good sushi in south Charlotte! Good nigiri selection above and beyond the basics, including toro, uni from Japan, and ishidai as a special when I stopped in.Overall vibe - it's a small-ish place; not huge, which I like. Not fancy but not super casual either. Pretty quiet when I stopped in for lunch on a weekend. There are tables, a bar area, and a small sushi bar - the guys working there were happy to talk about what they had in, from where, etc. I always appreciate an interactive experience.It's a bit of a drive for me up in Huntersville, but I for sure see myself coming back here next time I'm in the area.“

“This place is definitely worth a visit!! Sushi is one of our favorite but hard to find a good place. This place checks all the boxes. Food- I think my rolls were Spider, Hibachi beef and Miru Mountain and they were sooooo good! My fiancee ordered a bento box and the meat was very good and tender. The service was great, the staff is very welcoming and attentive. The presentation was beautiful and price is very reasonable. The atmosphere is nothing pretentious, is on the darker side, more light would be nice. We will definitely be back! Enough parking right in front of the restaurant, so that is a plus!“

“We had some of the best sushi at Red Sake. Loved the experience of sitting at the sushi bar watching the chef make our Toro Tartare and Sushi and Sashimi platter. Everything was so fresh and melted in our mouth. Definitely top on our list for sushi.“

“Go-to Asian food. It's quick, good, and relatively cheap. Not the best sushi I've ever had, but definitely worth the price. The entree portions are large as well. I've been numerous times for lunch and dinner and haven't found a better go-to in Charlotte!“

“The food is fantastic I definitely recommend the salmon avocado roll and the vegtable tempura it's super yummy the staff aren't very socialable but I am still a frequent guest here since trying it I definitely think the sushi tastes fresh and delicious great casual spot for hangout with family and friends and good for a quick little date night :)“
