Great chow hall. I was pleasantly surprised with everything.Update: I am a regular now at this chow hall. Almost daily for lunch and occasionally breakfast. Always leave impressed. This is a well run establishment.
Definitely not worth 343$ a month the quality of food is a little worse than a less than average buffet but the kicker here is its open at the worst times. Naturally it’s not the chow halls fault they bid to feed us the cheapest way possible while hitting minimum requirements. Most marines buy groceries, meal prep, or eat out. Needless to say we should be able to opt out of the chow hall and not have to pay monthly. Easily the number one reason marines get married to strippers.

My office got together to break bread to celebrate the 248th Marine Corps at the MCAS New River Chowhall. Steak, lobster and all the sides you can think of.Dietary restrictions: The chowhall lists all the information about the food being served.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome to eat with a qualified member.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for wheelchairs and the entryway is flat.
