“Typical American diner atmosphere (at least as you imagine as a European). You can choose seats at the counter or in a booth, we had toast which was really delicious. The coffee was also good and the staff was very friendly. There are separate toilets which were clean.“
“Great mom and pop country diner. The biscuits are amazing- made the "old timey way- buttermilk and lard" is reason enough for the 5 stars. Ample portions, bacon made to order (crispy or wiggly!), coffee refilled promptly. Pretty sure there was only one waitress in a full dining room and service was still great. Unassuming, no frills atmosphere, but the food was delicious.“
“Went on a late Sunday morning. Tried the new strawberry waffle and it was soooo good. I enjoyed it. Kids had the all star with a waffle and ate it up. And a bacon egg sandwich with Hashbrowns. Ate it up. I had the cheese steak hashbrown bowl with veggies was really good. Although busy, service was quick and enjoyable.“
“This particular day we just ordered waffles. I ordered a pecan waffle and it was candilisously yummy. The waitress was kind and attentive. The atmosphere was your typical Waffle House and that’s how I expect it, gritty, messy floors, a symphony of beautiful chaos.“

“My husband and I have been coming to this First Watch since it opened. I’ve loved every single experience. From dining in, taking out, and even those weekends I’m too lazy and get it delivered, the food has always been fantastic and the service always amazing.Stopped in this morning for a bite before running errands and Jamie was our server and was an absolute delight, super friendly, very attentive (thanks for reading my mind on coffee!) and just great.Glad we have a place like this in Jacksonville.
