Absolute comfort food and unique shopping.UPDATE: April24: Food tasted very bland. (Country fried steak, dumplings, fried okra), waiter was very absent, several other employees managed to take our order, and bring our drinks.UPDATE: Nov23: Still great food and adorable shopping. Had some excellent items for gifts.Parking: Multiple available parking spaces at 4:30pm on a Friday night.
I got the country fried steak. Was cooked well. It's just very bland. The country fried steak Everything was hot. My husband meal was good except the baked potato was overcooked and looked old and dry. Biscuits and cornbread were great, beverages were good, the waitress was great, and so was the service. Might try it again. Haven't had it in maybe 10 yrs. Might wait another 10 yrs. Who knows.

My wife ordered the roast beef without the gravy and it was so bad she spit it out in a napkin. It was dry and overcooked. You should not have to serve the meat with gravy to hide it’s poor quality. Also they were out of white fish.
