The meat is tender and the Mac and cheese is the perfect form of cheesy, the plantains are sweet and fried crisped and the Cabbage's flavor is top tier. Big up lil Jamaica! This spot is the real deal! Just finished the best escovitch fish (snapper) I’ve had in a while! My father is Jamaican, escovitch was prepared weekly when i was growing up and here they cooked and prepared it perfectly.I soon come back for more!

Ordered the oxtails and jerk chicken...Mac and cheese and cabbage. Everything was pretty good accept the Mac and cheese. It was so bad that there is no way that the cook could have tasted it and still served it.

The most unprofessional, unorganized, inattentive and inconsiderate business I’ve ever dealt with. Waited for 45 minutes for food that I never got and left. The woman today 9/15 is working the counter, serving drinks taking orders and running back and forth from the main lobby area and kitchen yelling at the incompetent cooks in the back demanding they stay on pace with the order. She did the best she could. The owners level of supervision is subpar and laughable and clearly doesn’t know how to run a business nor hold people accountable. If you are behind with orders and under staff inform your customers of the ACTUAL wait time. You’d be amazed how people respond if you’re honest. Also if you’re behind your cooks shouldn’t be sitting in the main lobby taking their time eating while people are waiting while you take your sweet time heading back to the kitchen to I guess cook and prepare food. Unacceptable and incompetent. GET AC fix some people for some strange reason come there to go on dates. How can anyone enjoy a hot restaurant. I feel sorry for the lady in the mask because she was clearly trying her best while being overwhelmed and looking exhausted. Probably from the hot restaurant. Ridiculous.

Gotten sick after coming here on 2 different occasions. The first time, I didn’t want to put blame on them. So I took a break from coming here. Came back again recently, and now my kids are both throwing up the next day. Food is okay but not worth the food poisoning.
