Ok so, I was looking forward to some delicious Chinese food we came to mai tai and were very disappointed. The food was a 6/10 do not recommend!! The service was okay. The overall vibe was a no but check out hibachi in Goldsboro, Nc.

The food is definitely not up to par. There’s no way the health department is letting this place stay open! The food is all cold and tastes old. The sushi is warm, the hibachi chef is not available while people are waiting for the food to be cooked. I would not recommend feeding this food to anyone! Avoid this place at all cost!!!!!!!!

The place has gone down terribly! Run down, dark, filthy, rest rooms as well. Food was over cooked/dried out and cold from buffet. Employee running hibachi grill was rude sitting and on his phone. Hostess was not friendly no smiles...place was a complete downer, not returning.

I went to use the restroom and in each stall there was a trash can with used toilet paper in it, with a sign above the toilet that said "don't flush any toilet paper down the toilet. I then watched an employee empty all the trash cans from the bathroom into one can and drag the open bag through the kitchen. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

For what it is, it should be cheaper. Forks where dirty, you drink your tea on a foam cup, not many desert options. Ambience was not great. A guy was chipping ice from the ice freezer for a while, imagine that chop chop chop chop chop while you are eating, another guy mopping the floors next to the food. Food was not bad. But not great either. Sushi did not look appealing. I could not try it. Nop.Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options.

I had'nt been here since before COVIDFirst thing the lady that was up front started saying you " must pay first "very rudely the food was dry and hard my drink was flat the table was dirty floor was nasty but the thing that upset the most the waiter who looked like he was meth head had what looked like motor oil grease and dirt on his nail and it was awful experience ??

It was like I was eating in a third world country. My husband got food poisoning and missed thanksgiving dinner 2 days later because he couldn’t get out of bed. We spit out half our food that they probably put back in the buffet. It should be named Mai Tai is crusty. The health department should shut this place down before somebody dies.

The hot bar (buffet) was not tasty and most food was dry. The egg drop soup was even bad.Hot bar had items that were mislabeled and the sweet and sour chicken was all I liked. The place was not real clean.If it weren't for the hibachi bar, I would have given it a 1 star.
