Absolutely my go to pizzeria in Jacksonville. Being a Jersey guy, pizza is sought out and cherished when you find what you're looking for. If you like the crust just a little crispy all the way to the center, just tell them. They'll get you hooked up!!!

Oh my goodness ! Fantastic chicken wings go here the best I have tasted in a very long time. Want some fantastic pizza go here the one place that you get a huge piece or huge whole pizza as well. If I could rate this place a 0/0 - I would in a heartbeat. Sadly, any flavor is completely erase by the customer service you can find here. It’s very ‘Jacksonville’ yet we found it more than distasteful.The wrong employees will sink a business and unfortunately this one is taking on water at a rapid rate.Give your money to literally anyone else and thank me later. ?Super tired of being nice to people like this place hires.

The pizza is sometimes crispy and fresh tasting and other times it is soggy and tastes like it is days old and has be reheated after several power outages. The customer service has pretty much always remained the same. They seem inconvenienced by your existence and hate taking your order. Some times they will not even talk and when they do, it is typically in a rude and condescending tone. I have eaten there at least 15 times and I have ordered the same things on several different occasions and the one thing I find most interesting, besides the quality being a mystery depending on the time and day you visit, is that the price seems to be different each and every time, even if you order the same thing you ordered last time. I requested a receipt the last two times and was not given one. Today when I asked, I was simply told it did not print out and that was just the end of the conversation lol. Anyway, it is not the worst place I have eaten at but the people who work there either hate their jobs or hate the fact that people choose to eat there which makes the experience unique so patron them at your own risk.

I wish the food wasn't as decent as it is. But let's talk about the atmosphere - NEVER have I felt so unwelcome or unwanted every single time we come in. The customer service is awful and our bill seems to rise every single time we come in. So, when we asked for a receipt she told us "didn't print." There are two employees that I as a business owner myself would consider liabilities and a danger to a business. These types of people will ruin a business and judging by reviews, we all know who I am speaking of. The workers are miserable, the tables are breaking, dust is literally everywhere, people on their phones... it's wild for a business that I'm assuming wants to continue. We've given hundreds to them, and each time we regret giving people like them our hard earned money & I do not recommend giving these people a penny. We have a strong feeling that our family was over changed and our order was smaller than last time. Y'all lost some good ass customers too.
Been ordering from here since 2019 and was wondering why the bill was higher then usual, called and found out that there is a $3 gas charge added on the bill that is never mentioned, does this go to the driver directly seeing as it’s their vehicle, and is it considered as part or all tip or does it go to the company. $3 is certainly not as little as I would tip ever but to add that on without explaining. Simply tell me when I order that there is a delivery charge. Sorry you guys you’re not the only game in town. We won’t be back and will spread the word. Empire pizza it is!!!!

I don't know how NY Pizzeria only has three stars. I suppose the negative reviews are from people not familiar with NY style pizzas. I grew up in the Tri-State area eating NY style slices and pizzas. For the first time, we ordered last night from NYP, and they make an excellent NY style pizza. Is it the best that I ever had? No, but it is by far the best NY style pizza I've had in Jacksonville, or anywhere around here. We ordered a 20" cheese Gotti (only $19.99), and it was what I was hoping for; but one piece of advice, NYP, achieve a little more charring of the crust's undercarriage, for it could have baked another minute. My wife and I drove 25 minutes from outside of Swansboro, and we'll do it again next week.
