Eeeeeeeee! We moved to Kernersville this past spring and are now finally exploring more - and today's find of a LEGIT PANADERIA 10 minutes from our house?!? YESSSSSSSA. So they all operate pretty much the same: grab a tray and tongs, fill with breads and sweets. The selection is amazing-more than I've seen at most here in WS. Some personal faves: Rolls, both round and football shaped. Bolillo has a bit extra egg white so they are fluffy and a bit chewy. Love making nice sandwiches with them. Anything that has a bright red paste. This is guava and it's incredible. Anything that has cheese! These are harder to discern. Anything really, just have fun! Bring cash: it's cheap but you need a $5 minimum. We got two custard things, a donut and two guava treats. I'd be lying if I said that we weren't planning to go back to get some rolls for a nice sandwich for dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious, and moves fast. Things aren't labeled, but after you go a few times you start understanding what things are, and I recommend just trying some new things, or google image what you got to make sure you can get it again. Finally the smell of fresh baked goodies and the kindness of the staff! 10/10 so excited this is so close!

I love this bakery. It has tons of selections and the ladies working in there are always super friendly. The price is incredibly cheap for what you get. I recommend the cheesecake. It's not like the American cheese cake. This is more cake like. I've eaten a lot of Latin American pastries and also European. Latin American pastries have a very "homemade" feel!

BE CAREFUL with this place they like to steal money from their customers especially when you use your card, they have no right to do this to people who have come to thus bakery for YEARS, if I could put no stars I would have, make sure you check how much they are charging you

I ate my deserts before I had a chance to photograph them- they were that tempting! We got two churros, a huge cookie, a chocolate chip cookie and a piece of chocolate cake. How much? $6 for it all. Seriously. The quality to cost ratio for this place is out of this world. It truly is a hidden gem. Everything was fresh and delicious. They had at least 50+ fresh baked goodies to choose from. You grab a tray and load it up with what you want. They also have fresh baked bread and some grocery staples. The girl working the counter was immensely helpful. I am thrilled to have a shop like this in my community. I plan to go there all the time now that I know it is there!

This is a truly authentic Hispanic bakery and clearly family owned. Nothing is labeled because it is clear everything moves day to day and hour to hour as fresh batches of pastries are baked. There are 3 walls of cases of different pastries plus several rolling racks full of pastries. There must have been over 50 types of pastries. They had large silver trays and tongs. You take a try and fill it with as many pastries as you wish. While we were there trying to figure it all out person after person came in piling high these 16in rounds. Sadly I do not speak any Spanish. So my attempts to figure out what each pastry was was a complete failure. The owner tried to help but we both did not share enough words. So on the spot panicked and a bit embarrassed I tried to googled a list of Hispanic pastries to try to figure out what to get. But I wasn't very successful. So it good spirits I just picked a few things that looked interesting. I have no idea what I ultimately ended up with. But everything was very cheap. For 3 large pastries I paid 3.50. They were all very yummy in a different kind of way. While they are not they type of flavors I am used to they were a fun adventure in supporting a small local business. If you don't speak Spanish and feel adventurous I suggest doing a little research before arriving, throwing caution to the wind and just trying something new and surprising.

While stopping for pizza I walked into the bakery next door. I was shocked at the amount of pastries and Mexican imported goods/groceries contained in the store. We shopped for an assortment of pastries. All of the assorted items we purchased were fresh and tasty. The bakery carries a large assortment of Mexican candies and drinks as well as a small amount of produce. While checking out we noticed cakes and flan in the case by the register. Friendly and helpful staff here as well.

This place used to be on the other side of business 40, near Terry's Deli. I love their churros, but today they didn't have them, so I got a strawberry filled pastry, that actually wasn't that good. But I'll go back again for my churro.
