Eeeeeeeee! We moved to Kernersville this past spring and are now finally exploring more - and today's find of a LEGIT PANADERIA 10 minutes from our house?!? YESSSSSSSA. So they all operate pretty much the same: grab a tray and tongs, fill with breads and sweets. The selection is amazing-more than I've seen at most here in WS. Some personal faves: Rolls, both round and football shaped. Bolillo has a bit extra egg white so they are fluffy and a bit chewy. Love making nice sandwiches with them. Anything that has a bright red paste. This is guava and it's incredible. Anything that has cheese! These are harder to discern. Anything really, just have fun! Bring cash: it's cheap but you need a $5 minimum. We got two custard things, a donut and two guava treats. I'd be lying if I said that we weren't planning to go back to get some rolls for a nice sandwich for dinner. Everything was fresh and delicious, and moves fast. Things aren't labeled, but after you go a few times you start understanding what things are, and I recommend just trying some new things, or google image what you got to make sure you can get it again. Finally the smell of fresh baked goodies and the kindness of the staff! 10/10 so excited this is so close!

Really wonderful spot that Kernersville is lucky to have. I had never been before and didn't know the protocol.Although I can get by in Spanish if someone speaks to me slowwwwwly, I didn't have to, as they had an employee fluent in English to help me. I took a tray and some tongs and wandered amongst the display cases loading up the tray. There are a huge variety of pastries, sweet breads, and even churros, doughnuts, and... cornbread?! I haven't gotten to try everything I bought yet, but what I've bitten into was fresh and delicious. Also, inexpensive! I can't remember the exact names of everything I got, but it was 7 pastries/sweet breads, a churro, and a packet of wheat duros for only $21.41! I couldn't believe it.They also have sodas, fresh produce, chips and candy like a convenience store might have. Except the vegetables (tomatillos, onions, peppers, cilantro) looked really fresh and healthy. :)Go go go!

Large selection of different breads plus cakes. They have some refrigerated goods as well as dried goods.

I love this bakery. It has tons of selections and the ladies working in there are always super friendly. The price is incredibly cheap for what you get. I recommend the cheesecake. It's not like the American cheese cake. This is more cake like. I've eaten a lot of Latin American pastries and also European. Latin American pastries have a very "homemade" feel!

We just went and it was awesome! SO much selection of baked goods- this is how a bakery should be! And the ladies working there were just so sweet and helpful. So happy to have a local bakery!

Amazing bakery!! When you go in, you get a tray and tongs and start selecting your goodies! We got a tray full of deliciousness for just over $30. Highly recommend this bakery.

This place used to my my favorite bakery but then they hired new employees and it all went bad after that. They touch the money with their hands then touch the bread with their hands! and suddenly the prices went up so much and they don't taste as good as they used too!! this place used to be such a vibe use to greet you and treat you with respect im not sure if they got a new owner or what happened but its just not it.

Best bread on the Triad. Way better than arroyo y el mercado . But pricey.
