We have been going to John Brown's for several years. They are super consistent in the quality of food and super service. We drive about 40 miles to go there. We would be glad to drive 100 miles if we needed to to get the outstanding food and service. I recommend John Brown's to everyone!!
Great country store, with daily lunch and dinner specials. They carry old fashioned candies, fresh vegetables, frozen dinners and beef, dried apple pies and fresh bread every Tuesday, ice cream, home made pimento cheese, chicken salad, the best home made ranch dressing, canned jellies, etc. If you used to frequent Ronnie's country store in Winston-Salem, come here on highway 66 in King, NC. They also have boxed country hams too.
