Frequently eat here and usually no complaints. 3/28/24 I got a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and I've ate this a million times from here but it was extremely dry as far as the beef goes to where I couldn't eat it and it looked and tasted like steak em. I also got the cheese fries and they always have cheese and bacon but this time it was only cheese on them. My mom got a chicken teriyaki sandwich and she didn't eat it either as it was rather dry as well and the grilled onions and pineapple was not good as whatever it was marinated in was not good she said. The side of chips was stale and cold. I did taste them and they were not fresh. The meal was at best halfway edible. Giving a 3 as we eat here often and it's usually very good.

Upon ordering the wrong thing, we asked to swap the order not even 2 minutes later. We were told that the cook already started it and was going to finish making it. Waitress was very condescending and rude about the whole thing. The plate was brought out and, as expected, was not eaten. The best they could offer us was “Maybe a family member can eat it.” I feel that when you go out to eat, the restaurants job is to please the customer, maybe not a full refund on the plate, but something in return for a plate you didn’t won’t and didn’t touch. Also not sure how the food was cooked immediately after ordering when the other plate took another 15 minutes for a lot less food. Just negative experience overall and little effort to please the customer.

We are visiting from Southern California and our family wanted us to experience this wonderful food. This is a BUSY place! The whole time we were there, there was maybe 1 or 2 open tables, but only for a second before a new set of hungry bellies moved in!The restaurant is clean and wonderfully decorated with murals and pics of beautiful farms and makes it feel homey. Now, let's talk about the FOOD!!!We had soup, breakfast, sweet n sour chicken, and finally crusted pork. The portions are huge, and the prices are very reasonable...What a treat this place is!Thank you for a wonderful meal!

My family and I have eaten here several times, and it's not bad but it's not great either. We ate dinner here tonight and my food was pretty good this time and the waitress we had was nice, up until I asked to pay for an older man's meatloaf. Let me add, they charge $9 for a slice of meatloaf with no sides! Insane. (Go to John Brown's their's is way better and wayyy better priced.) See, this older gentleman had ordered the country style steak. I over heard him tell his waitress that it wasn't good, he couldn't eat it. He asked if he could have a piece of meatloaf instead. His waitress told him that he would have to pay for the css AND his piece of meatloaf. He asked to speak with a manager, who never showed his face to that table. Sorry, not sorry. This is all kinds of wrong!! Never have I ever been to a place where the manager didn't come to the table OR at least try to switch out something, just make things right. The older man didn't eat half of his plate and then complain, he tried the steak and it wasn't for him. The waitresses were so very rude and loud about the situation, even though they had gone back into the kitchen where the manager was hiding. We left feeling sorry for the man and mad that the way things were handled. Won't be back. PS- if you work there and you're reading this, please go fill up the soap in the bathroom and you're out of paper towels.

We eat here at least once a week, large portions on food, the cooks/manager make sure you have some surprise options. We love the home cooking. Seating is pretty tight because it is so popular, but the food and the staff are all great, friendly & competent in their job. We love this place & the folks working here.
