Robin makes the absolute BEST pineapple cake - fluffy, with a tender crumb, and moist (sorry) with an amazingly light and refreshing pineapple topping (not really an icing - think more cool whip consistency). We used to purchase slices of her cake in various coffee shops and restaurants around town, but then we learned that King Classic Bakery was their supplier, so we went straight to the source! Robin's cakes are amazing!

Cute little bakery , great location. The owner was very cordial and shared some of the history of shop. I ordered eclair , and it was very good. Chocolate icing and light cream. Banana pudding was pretty good as well!

We had a little mishap with the order not being ready when we went to pick it up. But Robin went out of her way “literally” to correct the problem and she delivered us a delicious sheet cake just in time for our party. We had the white cake which was fluffy and moist. Everyone was very happy and I would say overall, the cake was pretty good! I would go back again.

We were really looking forward to visiting this bakery. We travelled six hours to go there during a foliage tour. .When we arrived in King, N.C. we searched and searched for the bakery only to find out that they had moved to Winston Salem, N.C. and of course, wasn't open that day even though they said they would be open, as we had called the day before to be sure!!! Very disappointing.

We saw the signage hanging outside about famous eclairs so we went in to see what this was all about. We met the owner Robin who gave us some history of her famous eclairs. After she was done describing her signature chocolate eclair we had to try one. While not on my diet - I split one with my wife. OH SO GOOD! It is not often you find someone with a passion for their work, with Robin we found one. You can see the pride and passion for what she does. All of her fresh baked on premise items looked so delicious. Should our travels bring us back to Winston - Salem we will be sure to stop here again for these delicious and amazing chocolate eclairs. Highly recommend

Holy Cow ! I passed by this bakery for over 2 years. I finally went in the other day as I am a huge fan of eclairs. They did not disappoint. The cashier/ baker was friendly and helpful and gave me a review of each pastry in a brimming case. I'll go back another time for each of those delights. Do not miss the eclairs. The perfect pastry with a slight chew. A delicately sweet custard filling topped with a rich sort of fudge icing. Go here now !

Best homemade Hummingbird cake I have ever ate. You can tell it is has everything fresh in it. The fruit to the fresh pecans and spices oh and that homemade cream cheese buttercream icing is out of this world good. This is my place for good homemade fresh cakes from now on. Oh and the price is so good. 40.00 for a three layer. Everyone else charges around 60 to 70 dollars. The best customer service. If you come in they are right there to serve you and so friendly. The most friendly place I have been too.
This bakery was a real gem and Robin was so sweet and friendly. We stopped in as we made a brief trek in downtown on Saturday afternoon and after eating at one of the local restaurants we wanted to pick up something sweet for later. The cases were filled with great choices at excellent prices, much lower in cost than some other bakeries we have been to in the area. I was very tempted to get some of the banana pudding cake...you heard me, but I got a cherry turnover since it is a personal favorite of mine. It ended up being breakfast but the crust was buttery and flaky and the cherry filling was sweet and tart at the same time....so good. The shop itself was cute with some tables and it was so nice hearing some of Robin's stories. I definitely recommend coming here and picking up some treats. The prices, selection and service made Kings my choice for baked goods in the Triad.

So very kind. They took my order over the phone for a birthday cake for my daughter, and the owner called me to coordinate pickup as snow (in NC! ) was expected & she wanted to be sure we got it. The cake itself was a masterpieces of chocolate mousse & cake, and quite a bit at the party. Highly recommend!
