Got the 2pt bbq special. It was advertised online on their website as $22 but when I went to pickup it was actually $35, so they need to update their website or honor the price listed online. Bbq was dry, not much flavor at all. Slaw was dry and had no flavor other than vinegar. Fries looked and tasted like they were cooked in week old grease, the only thing good was the potato salad. Definitely not worth the $50 I spent
They have great food and a very friendly staff. The BBQ is the best I have ever had. The tendon biscuits are so big and good you need to go ahead and buy two because you will want another after you finish the 1st one.Parking: They have plenty of parking right beside their location.
Was sitting in my car in the parking lot, looking at the menu before I went in and was yelled at and hassled by an older gentleman in the parking lot in an older silverish-gold truck. Decided I would just go elsewhere because I couldn’t focus on the menu with all of his blabbering.Come to find out later the restaurant is allowing him to live there in his vehicle with his spouse and pets. Also come to find out I’m not the only one that’s been hassled by this fella.I won’t be returning as long as he still lives in the parking lot, that’s just trashy. I want to be able to buy and enjoy food without being bothered by a hateful squatter.

Came here with some friends for lunch. Got the biscuit and egg sandwich and a side of peach cobbler. Prices were pretty decent, the place was very vintage but I figured the food will probably be good. But the mood ruiner and stomach churner, was finding not just one, but two hairs in my biscuit sandwich. Never had that happen to me before. And as you can see from the picture of the cobbler, it had a weird slime finish to it and not very good at all. I told the ladies behind the counter about the hairs, they offered me a new sandwich but I said no thank you. So be warned people, if you're going to come here, check your sandwich thoroughly. Needless to say this was a one-timer obviously.

The longevity of Stratford BBQ is eno8gh to serve as a testament of how good it is. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner; satisfied is what you'll be. But let me tell you about value. $28 for 2 lbs chopped BBQ, slaw, and hush puppies. There's enough to feed 5 people here. That's just over 5 bucks a piece. No app special. No coupons. Just go in and get it.
The reviews are reflective of the area in my opinion. King is known as the home of fast food. Not the most amazing restaurants. This can be okay or it can be pretty low brow. Just depends on the day.
