This is a very sinful place for me to go because it is SO VERY FREAKING DELICIOUS . I love this place so very much. When I go in here it is so very hard not to come out of there without one of each. My bill is anywhere between $12-$20 each time because I just don't know when to stop picking things out. All the girls that work in there had great customer service and are very good at getting things done. The cake makes can make some really great cakes too. I moved from Lexington, NC in 2011 and I still crave their doughnut holes daily!!! Their doughnut holes are the BEST ever!! Personally, everything in their bakery is DELICIOUS!!! No other bakery even compares to The Fancy Pastry Shop so if you are in Lexington, NC, stop by for doughnut holes or any other bakery items they may have. You will never regret it!!!❤️

Unfortunately, i have to give it 2 stars for service and product availability. Never greeted with a smile feels like im a bother. Whenever i go, no matter the time. Am or pm, they always say they ran out of pastry. Today, i went in at 11 am. for coffee roll, and they said they were sold out. The other day was eclairs the whole display case on that side was empty today. it seems like the phone was more important than having products available. How does this pastry shop stay open without anything to sell but cupcakes.

Our family has been big fans of the bakery for years but today we stopped by for crème filled oatmeal cookies and we were very disappointed. There was very little crème in the cookies causing the cookie to be dry and they were really small for the price. Likely will just buy Little Debbie oatmeals going forward. I can get an entire box for the cost of one from the bakery now.
Love the cakes and cupcakes but was let down tremendously early this evening. I called yesterday to order 2 dozen cupcakes, $31 and something rather than a sheet cake at $32 that feeds the same amount of people. Go in to pick them up and the lady tells me $68!!!! I was like no way there has to be a mistake! She said no, the cupcakes are $2.75 each. I explained this wasn't what I was told when I called and placed the order! She just said sorry there's nothing she could do!!! So dissatisfied and disappointed! Love the taste but definitely going to rethink if ever buying from there again!

The little young girls at the counter are very rude and immature. I didn’t feel as if I was welcome being that I am not European. My husband was treated the same way 3 weeks prior. But who am I kidding this is still racist old Davidson county.
I picked up some fruity macaroons as a gift for some young friends and they were gobbled right up ... which I think means they are delicious. The staff was very nice and did a good job keeping the line moving.I was interested to see a discount shelf, too.
I literally watched from my car and witnessed one of the workers making deserts with NO gloves & licking her fingers to pat the icing
