Super duper cool place! Love the decor and vibe, as well as a very nice chef and waiter/bartender. He gives free samples of the drinks too. Number 13 is amazing. The crab cake sandwich and gouda mac n cheese was great. They also had a delicious key lime cheesecake delivered fresh, while I was there. So happy I finally tried this gem of a place in our sweet little town!Cannot wait to go back to try more!!You should check it out too!!

Could not have asked for more from a venue and staff. Chose Sophie's Cork & Ale to host a surprise 70th party for my husband - and HE WAS MORE THAN SURPRISED! Worked with John to order food. When I arrived all the tables were placed perfectly, the food arrived on time and hot - fantastic presentation, plus it was delicious!! The overall venue is not loud, great lighting and extremely accommodating. Let's talk about AJ our server: WOW!! He was exceptionally attentive without being annoying, he checked in with me regularly to ensure things were going smoothly. Never did a glass go empty that he wasn't offering another beverage of any choice - water, wine, beer or cider. AJ did everything except a back walkover and handstand - guy is talented and the best at his job. OUTSTANDING service from start to finish. We need another reason to host a party at Sophie's ... shhhhh, working on it!

Did a special valentines Diiner here. Awesome food and several different French wines. But keep in mind this special place and food selection doesn't need a special holiday to be awesome. See you there.

This was our second visit and the food was great! We did “halvsies” with the crab cake Benedict and the corn beef hash. With a side of the Gouda pimento cheese! MMm!! It was al good but the hash was especially good! I completely recommend mixing the pimento cheese in with it!All eggs were perfectly cooked and our server was friendly and helpful. There is street parking.

It was a nice place. The decor was pretty, and the band was warming up and tuning up, getting ready to play. The service was good! The furniture needs to be updated. When I went to set down, I thought I was never gone to find the seat in the chair. The chairs are worn out, and it made me too low to reach the table. I switched chairs. The chairs sink down in the middle. Very uncomfortable.

Great food and service! Sophie's has a nice menu of appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees, with rotating specials. They also have a nice draft list (at least 12 beers) and wine list to pair with your meal. I got the brie and turkey croissant sandwich, which had lots of melty brie cheese and so tasty. I love the atmosphere with the wood tables and wood bar, and the service is great. I would definitely visit again!

This place is a true gem to Lexington! The food here is specially curated daily and Chef John Wilson does an amazing job! His staff (Wendy & Haylee) are so courteous. It’s a very relaxing vibe with live music most weekends. I’ve ordered butternut squash soup here, the Beef Tips, Scallops with Pumpkin Risotto, burgers, and decadent cheesecakes. This gem never fails to amaze!
