We are new to the area. I am super picky regarding quality and clean food. I am from the Great Lakes where I grew up on trout. The trout was superior and on point! I will be taking my husband back.

Excellent service, excellent food, excellent people.I had the Chinese style chicken and broccoli with loaded potatoes - best flavors without the meaty chicken taste and the broccoli was crunchy and fresh as well. Will come again. Thanks guys!

We have passed this place several times and never stopped in! Wow we were missing out!!! Today I had the chicken corn chowder with a grilled cheese and my wife and niece had the gumbo and grilled cheese. The soups were fantastic and the gumbo had great spice!!! We will definitely be back!

Me and my friend were passing through on the way to Charlotte and stopped for lunch because of the good reviews. I was a little surprised it was so small and not very busy. Shrimp and grits were amazing!! The staff were so friendly. Clean. Fresh, delicious salad. Try the Strawberry and Walnut Salad. It did not disappoint. Corn chowder was on point. Even the grilled cheese tasted gourmet. The bathroom was precious and super clean. This is a hidden gem in Lexington.
What a wonderful restaurant! Locally owned, all food is locally sourced and remarkably well prepared! Our server, April, was kind and attentive and gave us the background on the place. It's a small dedicated menu and it allows them to excel. My wife got the salad with grilled chicken, feta, walnuts, sliced strawberries, spring mix and a red wine vinaigrette. She's texting all her friends now to tell them how good it was! I got the loaded baked potato with BBQ brisket. Fantastic! Had to try the lava cake with gelato... man oh man oh man... chocolate overload! Exactly what I wanted! We already are making plans to return!

I picked up some food here for some friends and me for the first time. We got a loaded, baked potato, gumbo, and a lamb burger. I called the order in and picked it up at the drive-through. The food was delicious. It reminded me of my mom’s homemade food. I will definitely come back and try other dishes. The prices are not crazy either.

Where has this restaurant been hiding!!!Food was amazing and the atmosphere was so family oriented and comfortable.The Brussels sprouts were made so well! They tasted so good!!Very clean and bathrooms are very clean as well.Parking: Many spots and very open parking.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly environment.Could have a few more choices for kids menu BUT it was very accommodating.
On a road trip and tired of fast food? This is the place to stop. Fresh prepared, absolutely delicious food and a cozy vibe. Handmade and wonderful.
