2x$$$ for 1/2 the flavor. U have to pay for Fortune cookie even if u spend $50+ and you are giving the smallest plastic fork to eat

I feel like I was ripped off. A sweet and sour chicken and an egg drop soup was $27 and some change. The food wasn't bad but it was not worth that price. I doubt I will ever go back as Panda has better food at a much better price (less than $20).Parking: Plenty of parking but getting out of the lot was a real pain as the stop light kept backing up in front of the building and nobody was letting anyone out.

The service was good and fast, and the portions are big… but the food is not the best tasting in my opinion.

For all the people here reviewing asking about WHAT HAS HAPPENED AT CHINA 1. WHY is the food different? or just dont taste right, Its the new owners, they have changed everything, we were friends with George Bo, the previous owners for over 25 years and that is when the food was right. after a couple years since george retired, we have tried it again 3 times, BUT we are done, its just not right, no taste, just bland,, rice OVER COOKED, egg rolls microwaved, carrots and veggies in dishes are just mushy, due to precooking. Come on china 1, go back to george bos, methods and what made china 1 good. I will go to panda, its cheaper and just tatse better.

Update the tip jar doesn't go to tip the girls or who ever is working on the front. Management takes all the tips and doesn't give them to there employees. I find this very deceiving to its customers. Those girls are always so fast and helpful with all the orders they take and this is just unacceptable in my book.Great food great customer service!

I used to love China 1 but the food has changed. I get the chicken with garlic sauce and the chicken tasted like rubber. I understand everything has went up but $30 dollars fir 2 orders of garlic chicken and a tea is a little high I think. Don't think I will be

Loved this place until they started changing a quarter for a lemon packet for the sweet tea

Have 1 star only because I had to give at least 1. Actually -3 stars!!! China 1 used to be really good. What happened??? We ordered crab rangoons, small lo mein and 12 chicken wings and not only was it $38 it tasted old!!! I’ve never had a Rangoon that was so tough to chew! It was disgusting and not edible. The sauce had the consistency of glue. Lo mein has no flavor, but at least edible The wings, were ok. I won’t go there again!!! China Garden in Mt View is 1000 times better for a fraction of the cost! Should’ve just flushed that $38 down the toilet!!!
