Zhay’s is an hidden gem in Lincolnton. The food was was amazing along with the staff, especially Nichole. The chef owns it and shows the love for his restaurant in his food. I would 10/10 recommend for anyone that is wanting fantastic food, relaxed environment, and excellent service.

Potatoes greasy, fried oakra Greasy. Small portions for what u pay. We sat there about 10 minutes before waitress finally said has anyone waited on you. Didn't bring menus or silverware napkins. My husband asked for chicken breast and 2 vegetables. They brought chicken pieces in sauted vegetables. And the additional 2vegs. I took 40 min to get our food. When we got our bill they charged us 3$ apiece for each vegetables when menu said it came with. Did refund when we asked. Will not be back.

It was really nice. People r friendly. The waitress that is. The food was palatable. The chicken that day was somewhat dry but the green fried ? were the best.Parking: Parking is on the street. Difficult at times.

So their idea of garlic parm wings is wing with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese on them and some parsley. Nothing else. I also couldnt even bite through the pasta it was so tough. And it took them about 40 minutes to make that. The tea tasted like they brew it 3 weeks ago and let it age before serving. My dog can make better food than this.

Brought our nephew and his family here for lunch, as they are from out of town, thought it would be a good experience. Ordered appetizers, once they came, it took the waitresses another 30 minutes to take our order, then another hour plus for the food to start coming out and not at the same time. 2 small children were not happy. 2 plates came out, 10 minutes another plate 15 minutes the final burger made it out. Bottom buns were hard as a brick, chili tasted burnt, "crispy" wrap was nothing but a limp burrito, Waitress never came over to inform us of what was going on with our food, and when we asked she just said idiots in the kitchen don't know what they are doing. 1st time there and last time there. And embarrassed that we took our nephew here for an experience in our town. This was much better when it was in the old pizza hot line place.

It was fine. They have changed back to a more casual feel, which I don't mind but didn't expect. Fried asparagus is gone! ? But the sauteed potatoes were AMAZING! My husband said the country fried steak was pretty terrible, but everything else was good. Also, be mindful of the vents blowing on you.

Went out with my family for a nice dinner expecting a very impressive atmosphere. The food was very less than impressive. Will not recommend it to anyone.

First time here. The food was absolutely wonderful. Service was very good also. Atmosphere was good as well. I had the fried stuffed mushrooms for appetizer, had the steak tips with mixed vegetables. Both dishes were really delicious. I am sure I will return again.

Our food was good. The wait staff was very friendly but very disorganized. Beware their up charges. No salsa came with my quesadilla. It was a $1. The extra pickles on hubby's burger were $.25. I've never been charged for those items anywhere else.

Food was good. Smaller portions than we are used too and bread could have made the difference. Service was just okay, so can't give higher rating. Small place and people coming and going but there was a beer and wine bar.

Well, I stumbled across this little restaurant in downtown Lincolnton, and what a surprise! The restaurant was very clean and it had a great little bar area! Our waitress was awesome and told us a little bit about the history of the restaurant. There is a great variety of food on the lunch and dinner menu with a unique touch on many dishes.I had a Philly Steak Wrap. Not just your average wrap at all! The wrap had steak, peppers, onions and mushrooms then somehow he crisped the whole wrap and then put cheese on top with lettuce and salsa and sour cream on the side. Good lord that was amazing!!!! Try the fries as well. Again, unique fries and unbelievable!I highly recommend this restaurant! You will not be disappointed, and we will definitely be back!
