I scored this location with 5 stars yesterday but did not have the chance to provide a review because I was running short of time.When we decided to visit this location, we had just left another event and we're trying to find a restaurant that was still open (it was approaching 9:30pm). We have always enjoyed Captain D's seafood and we grew up with a location in my family's hometown of Danville, VA. Unfortunately, that location closed and we moved to NC, at which time we found out our closest Captain D's was in Greensboro, NC.That's not convenient at all when you live outside of Fayetteville, NC like we do.Anyway, I digress. We found this Lumberton location and were happy we were able to get there in time to order. The very kind woman who helped us at the drive-thru made sure we were taken care of and the food was piping hot when we got it; everything was cooked perfectly!All of our selections were delicious and we were grateful they had not already shut down the fryers considering the late hour. We appreciated the hospitality considering the fact a lot of places would have just told us they were closed at that time of night.We will definitely be coming back to this location the next time we're in the Lumberton area! I hope we will have enough time to dine in so we can try a few other choices from the menu, next time.

My steamed broccoli was not hot.My funnel cakes were not hot.The associate was friendly and professional, but alone. That made it difficult for him to stay on top of everything properly.

The best fried fish and shrimp w/hush puppies and coleslaw yummy they closed the captain D's where we live.
If you love seafood or a great steak, this is the place!!! The new place is killer. It's open ,bright and super clean. Go early, the place fills up quick!!!
