I went to Village Inn Seafood and BBQ because I wanted some fried clams the clams were Ok good but not quite the flavor I was looking for. This spot has a walk up window and they were very busy during the time I was there. Very friendly

I ordered the Deluxe Scallops. There were plenty of Scallops on the plate,but they were so over cooked, and tough, you couldn't even cut them with a fork!!! My cats enjoyed them though.The Hush puppies, fries, and the slaw was good,and our server was nice. But this will be our last time here,back to Pier 41.

Some of the best seafood I’ve had in this area. Service was good and fast. Food was hot and tasted so good. Our waitress was so nice, professional and friendly! Only thing is, it was real crowded outside and inside the restaurant. Parking was tight and restaurant was crowded, but not chaotic. I will definitely be back! I will have to take pictures the next time. I had a seafood platter with fried flounder, shrimp, deviled crab and I substituted the oysters for fried scallops. They also have the best crush ice, even better than Chick-fil-A ?. This was a dinner date with my friends!!!

My first time here. I wanted to like the barbecue but I didn't. I never have had it ground up like that. I just didn't care for the consistency. In ordering a small plate, you don't get a bun or any bread. The hushpuppies would have been much better with something like honey butter or just butter. I feel sure I would have liked something different, but I really wanted barbecue.
