This is the cutest, happiest restaurant I think I’ve ever been in. It’s the epitome of hometown friendliness, integrity, and delicious homemade food. The servers sit down at your table and tell you all about the food with such pride. You feel like family.Barbara (one of the owners) is truly an amazing, lovely person. She is truly a joy to be around. This was my first time here. We were travelers passing though and she made us feel welcome.As for the food, everything was amazing!! It all tasted homemade and nothing was greasy! It was very affordable and I loved all the small touches.

Home town feeling of a restaurant. Great and personal staff and the sandwiches are very flavorful and delicious. Each sandwich comes with one side dish and a dessert. They offer a wide variety of cheesecakes. They are the dense New York style cheesecakes. Very enjoyable place!! The brownies are small (compare to cheesecake) but you really don't need a big piece to be satisfied.

First time here. What a surprise. On the surface, it seems to be a typical old downtown diner with typical diner food, but...it's not. Every item is unique and just a notch above what you would expect. Three bean salad, yep, looks like a typical 3 bean salad, but OMG, amazing, no idea what's in it, aged basalmic vinegar? Savory, not too sweet, just amazing. And every side dish was that same OMG surprise. Best rueben I've had in the south. Swiss cheese is not overpowered by the kraut and dressing, Marble rye that tasts like rye and corned beef that stands on its own, more flavor than salt. Cheese cake, yes, it is the real deal special, NYC. Take home a whole pie kind of thing. Even meet the owners, Bruce and Barbara. I'm so appreciative that they have been blessing us with their gifts of service for so many years.

Bruce's Fabulous Foods is by far - the best lunch you can get in the Marion NC area. Wonderful and friendly staff, nice quiet atmosphere, and the food... OMG the food is at a 5 star restaurant level. Quick to the table as well. This was our first time there - and we'll be back for sure!!If you prefer to use a straw for your drink then bring one with you... as they do not supply them.
Cannot say enough good about the greatness of this place! INCREDIBLE from scratch food, no deep fryer, it's all FRESH.Leave room for cheesecake; he makes 100s.Amazing!!!

Located this local jewel while passing thru Marion. Barbara greeted us and treated us like old friends even though we had never met. Hamburgers, spicy beans and peppermint cheese cake were excellent. Took home a pound of pimento cheese to enjoy. We will definitely return.

Did I mention the CHEESECAKE? Key-lime pie filling baked on top of key lime CHEESECAKE. I would have preferred French fries over potato chips but I fell in love at first bite. I ate the Monte Brucesto. My wife got the Philly on a hoagie. SOOOOO good!. This little place was slammed during lunch in a town where there was VERY little activity ?. Obviously a town favorite joint!!
