Great experience eating with our friends. Great food, quick service. I give a GREAT Shout out to the honesty of the staff. I dropped my wedding ring on the floor under the table. I was able to call them and they found it for me. May God bless your business.

Just want to give a shout-out to John and Jennifer for all they've done opening up J. Hartman's Restaurant. We had a delicious meal there tonight and everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. My husband said that tonight's meal, which included the 9 oz. sirloin, was the best meal he's eaten out at a restaurant locally and/or out of town in a long-time! Kudos to the cook for cooking the steak just right and kudos to the servers and other staff for your friendliness, good service, and for wearing a mask. Give them a try!

Tried out Holly’s Deli. Everyone that I ate was bland and didn’t have much flavor. The Philly Cheese Steak taste like cardboard. The service was exceptional. Just that the food had no flavor.

John and jen hartman are very hardworking and their family have done such a wonderful job with this new restaurant. It takes alot of blood, sweat and tears ,and they work very hard to create such a great family owned business in marion. I loved our experience, the food was phenomenal and the service was excellent.

9-19-2020......First time dining at J.Hartman"s. My family loved eating at Holly"s Deli.Food was very good although $10:00 for a single sandwich is a bit pricey. Drink and fries are extra.Staff friendly and was seated in a large room with perhaps 10 or so tables. 2 other families were in the same room and left shortly after our arrival.Soon afterward another couple was seated directly behind me. Our chairs were touching each other. So much for social distancing. The entire room was empty and these folks were seated 6 inches from us. Need to work on that management !!!!!!!!!!

Two negatives. Staff without masks, and some wore the mask on the chin. There were some servers that wore the mask correctly, but all should have.My husband and I shared a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It was tasty but lacked cheese. The server said that the cheese was put in between the meat layers on the grill. I was aware of some cheese on my half. None to be found on the other half. Also needed more mayo...it was dry. Could have been excellent because the flavor was really good.

Scrumptious meals for the whole family at the new location: J. Hartman’s. I had the peel & eat shrimp special, and it was fantastic. Half a pound of large shrimp, cooked and seasoned perfectly with lots of Old Bay. Little cups of cocktail sauce & drawn butter came on the side. The sides were a loaded baked potato & a huge very fresh side salad, all for $14.99. My picky kids loved their meals, too. Staff was very friendly & attentive, even though they were quite busy & some were still learning. Cupcakes for dessert was the perfect finish. Definitely will be back for dinner.

Food is okay but none of the staff behind the counter were wearing masks when I went in, I mentioned that it made me uncomfortable(and also....government mandated?) and was met with a sassy "sorry" There's better places in Marion that aren't a public health risk, sorry.

I wish I could give this restaurant a better rating, but the person making my lunch wasn't wearing a mask!!! YIKES! and the people taking the orders kept taking theirs off with no plastic barriers between them and their customers. These things aren't difficult (uncomfortable, but not difficult) so I can't recommend stopping there, no matter how delicious the desserts were. It's not worth someone dying!!!

Just left there after standing in line forever and during a pandemic they showed no interest in social distancing only the almighty dollar. All tables were open with people mere inches apart with no mask. It’s places like this that spread the virus. Shame on you people. We left not only because of this but the customer service was horrible

The people at the establishment could use a few courses in customer relations. They could also use a course in Business Management. During my visit, they did not have the item I wanted nor did they have the item my friend requested that was part of the daily special. After having to compromise, I placed my order and requested that I receive my order without the overpriced beverage. The cost of the order was only going to be $.15 cheaper without the beverage although if you order a beverage with a meal you are charged in excess of $2.00 for it (do the math), what a rip off! I am given a very small cup and told that was the only cup they had at the time (who oversees inventory at this place?). Well, since I had to wait for a bit, I ask for a refill with no ice; however, when I got my cup returned to me, you guessed it, there was plenty of ice and very little liquid. Now, we all know that restaurants make all their profits on beverages, so what is the big deal. When I called them on it, I did not appreciate the response and had to express my feelings on the matter. There is a lot more to this story; however, I will close for now and say that it will be a cold day in **** before I will EVER return to this excuse for a restaurant. Also, let me say that if you're planning to move to the building across the street, which is at least five times larger than the one you are occupying, you might want to consider some business courses in management because you certainty could use a few.
