Never again! This is the first review that I’ve done on a restaurant and I felt it was necessary to warn others. We went there last night, red flag #1 should’ve been we were 3 of 10 people in a Mexican restaurant on a Friday night! The first table we sat at wasn’t clean so the waitress sat us at another table, cool, red flag #2. We ordered and ate our food, the beans were not hot but not a big deal, I ate them with the fajitas which were sizzling hot. When the waitress came to clear the table and I’m stacking the napkins on my plate, 2 ROACHES ran from underneath the napkin!! I hurried out of the booth and all the waitress could say was “Opps, sorry” like she was apologizing that they showed up early for their reservation! I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life! I will never go back!!

We had the Pollo a la Crema with double rice and corn tortillas. It was so flavorful. I really liked the way they put thought into the dish so that you could easily construct a stuffed tortilla or eat it with utensils. The mild salsa was some of the best I've eaten. We came at late lunch and ordered to go, it came out in five minutes and we ordered a dinner dish. Highly recommend!Wheelchair accessibility: Parking up front, right of way into the door.

I wasn’t expecting a five star dining experience, but this was beyond awful.One customer at the bar and it took 10 minutes to get water. The food was bland and cold. Service couldn’t have been worse. Two servers and water glasses never got filled. Took another 10 minutes to get our check. Our server was too busy drinking with the customer at the bar.The restaurant is filthy. Dust literally hanging from the mounted TV. Never again… would prefer McDonald’s over this place.

The bad reviews are funny, I'm antisocial, picky and literally autistic and this is my favorite place to come, it's always clean when I come in and the main waitress me and my family get most times remembers our orders for the most part and it's very sweet, the other girls who work here have also been very sweet, the menu does lack some explanation but it isn't hard to ask, the staff is very nice, think before you give a rushed review after you visit ONE time, visiting a restaurant one time gives you no knowledge on if it's overall good or bad, and if you just don't want/like Mexican food then don't go a Mexican restaurant.

I should've taken a picture of my plate! I'm not picky at ALL but this place sucks lolI ordered a chicken quesadilla, because how do you mess that up? My plate looked like a kid's meal - 1 little flour tortilla folded in half with dry chicken and mozzarella, that's it... no onions, peppers, tomato or sour cream....nothing.Side of rice and beans - well the rice was fine.... but the beans were whole pinto beans, which I thought was weird. I'm used to refried beans with rice. Probably canned beans, to go with that canned chicken on my quesadilla.On a Friday night and there was nobody else in the restaurant except for 3 guys at the bar that were together drinking and not eating. They had the right idea ?
Not sure what the negative reviews are about. We’ve been here multiple times and our experience has been excellent every time! The menu is a nice blend of traditional and unique options (love the lamb and cactus dishes!). The waitress is always friendly and very accommodating with our dairy-free diet. The restaurant itself has a dive-type vibe to it, but in our experience dives usually have some of the best food! If you want great Mexican food with friendly service and don’t mind a hole-in-the-wall atmosphere, then definitely check this place out!

Garbage Restaurant. They don't clean up, no soap in the bathrooms, food was bland with no taste, severs are vaping in the background, and overpriced menu. Go to Azteca in Matthews if you want good Mexican food with good service

1st and last time eating here. Huge disappointment. I should have read reviews first. The entire restaurant was not clean including the tables. It was dinner rush hour and completely empty. Food was bland. Rice and beans cold, sour cream runny and warm. Margaritas were watery. We ordered the Texas Fajitas. They were OK. However, shrimp was way overcooked. The best thing I can say is our server was very sweet. We will stick to out amazing Mexican restaurant in Locust.
