This place is always a mess. Food is fine but I don’t think they ever clean tables so people just brush all the rice left on the table… onto the floor.

This was my first and last time at this location. My burrito bowl was extremely salty, and the kitchen/dining room were both very messy, yet there were so many employees. Also, there was an employee with a very large afro and one with a long half up half down pony tail both not wearing hats/hair nets, so don't be surprised if you ever find hair in your food here.

Absolutely and I mean it. Absolutely the worst chipotle ever. I’ve been here multiple times as A dasher as well as eating here. Food is less than mediocre. Staff are probably high schoolers with no safety or home training. Look at my reviews. I’ve eaten plenty of places, fast food to very high end. I’m VIP on OpenTable with priority reservations when my name pops up. I would be mad too if I had to stand for plenty of hours to make not much in this economy. But treating people with respect and courtesy is not even bare minimum and that is nonexistent at this location. Even the people that I deliver to have said similar things and don’t even like to order from this location anymore. It’s really sad. As A customer, restaurant owner, and part time door dasher. This is the absolute worst location I have ever been to in my entire life. With some of the worst customer service as well. I am from Brooklyn New York , I’ve seen bad and trash. This is one of them.

This location is quite disappointing even on the low bar Chipotle already sets. Cooks can be observed without hats/hairnets, handling raw and cooked food without gloves as well as without washing hands despite a visible hand sink. Headphones are in, service is incredibly slow, seems like they're staffing to meet labor goals more than to meet sales/guest count. Many health code violations visible without even the need to go into the kitchen. Please use this as an opportunity to coach the staff/managers.

I come to this location quite frequently and I’ve never had a bad experience here. I went in today on my lunch break to get a burrito and I was so excited that everything looked like it was freshly put out. I had my burrito made and one of the girls at the register; I didn’t see a name tag so I didn’t get her name, made a comment about my large burrito. In a very rude tone she asked me if I was going to eat all of that in one sitting insinuating that it was a lot of food while having a disgusted look on her face. You never know what people are going through and you never food shame someone for fueling their body. I’m not sure that I will continue to visit this location after this incident because it did make me uncomfortable.

I don’t know who the white girl is with the Shirley Temple curls but every time I come in, and she’s there. She never speaks to me. But she speaks to and greet “other people” If you know what I mean. the last time I came, she asked everyone for their order name but me, let me dead in my face and walked off. Poor customer service.

Went to the Matthews, NC Chipotle for the first time in a very long time... Plenty of employees working so food was made quick. The drink station was completely out of napkins and luckily I snagged the last fork. Every and I mean EVERY table in the place was filthy - I used the corner of one table to eat. Both trash bin areas were over flowing with garbage. A half hour later I got up to refill my drink, an employee had restocked the forks but turned a bling eye to the napkin dispensers which remained empty. Quite honestly the worse dine in fast food experience I've had in a long time. Can't believe this is a corporate location with all these bad reviews.

They need to get a grip on making food to meet demand. This is the third time they were out of white rice, and I’m not going to wait 30 minutes for new rice to come out. They should start making it BEFORE they run out…Chipotle is known for dirty dining areas but this location is the worst. I’m not sure if they clean at all throughout the day. The bathroom smells AWFUL all the time, and the build up of gunk on the toilet and floors is vomit-inducing.It’s a shame this is the closest location to me. You would think that having a rating of 3.1 would make management take action…

I don’t know what’s up with chipotle these days but this location is the worst out of them. First they forgot my cup for my drink so I went back inside. Then my bowl order is completely wrong. No lettuce, meat is wrong, and on top of that sour cream was added? Not sure where he could’ve read that because I never asked for that. Don’t come here you will waste your time! All fast food has these teens-early 20s working there with no common sense.

This Chipotle was a huge disappointment. It was absolutely filthy. There were spills and smashed food all over the floors, under counters and the kitchen equipment. There was paper trash under many tables and serving counters. The service area had spills and food sloshed all around each container. There were at least 8 people working behind the counter but evidently no one was assigned clean-up of the service or dining areas in recent days or weeks. The amount of food on the floors and the obvious fact that it had been walked on repeatedly indicates that there is minimal, if any cleaning done after closing either, since we were there at noon. Even the windows and doors were smudged with tons of handprints and looked nasty. There was a rating of 98.5 posted, which doesn’t seem right. It must be very old because there is no way a restaurant in this condition could attain anywhere near that rating. I will not be back to a place this dirty and poorly maintained.

I haver not eaten Chipotle in a few months. I really wanted to try the Beef Barbacoa Quesadilla, so I did a mobile order about 9 am for a pick up of 12 pm. I am standing there at 12:15 (gave them a few extra minutes) and nothing is ready there is just chaos and confusion and its a mess in there. I notice that the young lady is helping people but not even addressing me since I walked up. After about another 10-15 min I tried asked the young lady about my order.. she snaps and says she was here first(another customer) I said I was only trying to get you to acknowledge me. The other customer said very clearly "No I wasn't, I just got here". Shame on you. Now the other employee asked what's my order, and they don't have it. But you have my money? I have to write down the order for them. They give me my bag which has sour cream spilling out everywhere. She asked what do you want me to do... Really! I want you to do it right! I want you to give a darn! They wrap my box in foil per my suggestion and a new bag. Get back to work and the Quesadilla is dry as the dessert, and the corn is frozen its so cold. This was a bad day..You all need to do better.
