I like the food and generally recommend this restaurant. There are three things that frustrate me considerably and they significantly impact how often we go.1. $4.25 for soft drinks? Sure, make money on drinks; you're not running a restaurant for your health, but $4!! Because of this, we decide against going 50% of the time we otherwise would. Because of this, when we do go, it is well understood, we all are getting water without exception. If they charged $2.00-$3.00 for soft drinks, we'd go far more often and we'd spend money on drinks. Again, $4? Shame on you.2. The robot gets in the way and doesn't appear to serve a purpose. Prior to its existence, waiters would bring our food and set it on our table. Now waiters follow the robot around and put the food it carries on our table. What's the value-add of this thing? Pointless several thousand dollars spent on an obstacle. I'm sure the robot is why they decided to charge $4 for a Coke.....I actually didn't see it the last time I was there and a friend of mine said he hasn't seen it in a while and thinks they got rid of it. If so, good for them; I only have 2 grievances then.3. The men's bathroom has no divider between the urinal and the sink. If you're using the urinal and someone uses the sink, you're basically presenting yourself to them. It's a lose-lose situation. I mean, we're men, it's a men's bathroom and to a great extent I'm fine in a situation wherein I need to do what I gotta do and someone does what they gotta do and neither of us cares about the others' situation. Unfortunately there's no option to ignore the dude using the urinal if you need to wash your hands. I wonder how many people have used the stall and returned to their table with dookie particle fingers because they were too uncomfortable to wash their hands beside a stranger's wiener.In summary, junk the robot (if not already done), charge $2.50 for Coke and put up a $40 partition beside the urinal and great success will follow! It's the simple things that make all the difference. It's mid April. I'll come back around mid-May and hope to see improvement. If not, then Azteca, Monterrey and maybe even Taxco get our business.

Order tacos for our workers. They don’t tell you they are mini tacos that come on cheap store-bought bagged nasty tortillas No limon. No salsa. The meat actually had a good flavor surprisingly. They give you a bag of chips, but no salsa

It’s one of the best Mexican Restaurants we have eaten at hands down! I’ll post pictures next time we eat there. I had the skirt steak again last night and it was delicious. My husband had the spicy shrimp Diablo and it’s only for someone that truly likes spicy food. The staff was attentive and friendly. All I can say is if good food and service is something you look for then enjoy! Look forward to coming back soon.

Decided to go and try this restaurant based on other reviews. The vibe was ok but the food was very mid. My husband ordered an Asada Quesadilla and the steak was greasy and the cheese was meh. Also the Quesadilla was soft and had no crisp to it. Chips and salsa were good. I did order the Chicken soup and that was excellent. As far as service it was ok..it took a while for the server to come by and she did not explain anything on the menu. When my husband told her his meal was not good, the manager Audrey seemed very uninterested in taking off the item and not helpful. She was behind the bar directly in front of us and still took a while just to come over. Would like to give another try, but with how the management is I probably won't return.

Everything was great from service to food and prices we definitely enjoyed our visit. I ordered chicken mole it was delicious and the serving was generous I had leftovers to take home we enjoyed the fresh made tortilla chips and salsa if you want some authentic Mexican food this is the best spot I have found by far so far in charlotte I definitely recommend this place and we will be back often

The food is amazing but what I feel makes this place great is the staff. The manager / bartender Audrey is so attentive, she makes this place feel like your own cheers bar. She treats you like a friend & remembers your favorite drink. 5 stars hands down.

Food was bland. No sauce on the tacos at all. I love cilantro and even I think they went overboard with the cilantro. They only real flavor for the tacos was the onion and cilantro. Chorizo was poorly seasoned. Cheese sauce was extremely thin almost like it was from a can at the grocery store. Could use some peppers or anything to add some flavor to it. Hispanic mothers would be disappointed by the food. The service was nearly non-existent. Drinks went empty on 2 separate occasions. Lucia never introduced herself and was too self rushed for her own good. I only know her name because it was on the check. It wasn't very busy. Maybe 5 tables in the restaurant and at least 3 wait staff. Kitchen staff brought our food and had to refill the drinks. Maybe that's why the food didn't live up to what other reviews were saying. Kitchen staff should not have to bring food and refill drinks. That's wait staff's job. Overall it was a terrible experience and can't see myself giving them another shot. Yes it was that disappointing

We had the Saturday special house margarita pitcher, which was delicious. The tacos and churros also definitely did not disappoint. The chips are very fresh, and the salsas are also really good. The hot salsa... Is hot! Still good though. Would go again!
