I really don't recommend it, I ordered tripe with mashed potatoes!! The potato was very salty and they didn't send me a juice that I ordered and its taste disappointed me!!!….For Dominican food, I don't recommend it at all!!

The sancochó had a horrible flavor and on top of that salty. Very rare to find such bad food in a Dominican Restaurant because Dominicans usually cook super good or at least that's what I thought until I ate here. They also add a tip to the bill themselves. I would never return more than $20 tossed in the trash.

Food was pretty good the bathrooms and lounge was really clean. I wanted a salad and they only had one option for salad so that was kind of a bummer it was a random stop to try the food out however I did not realize it was a lounge so when a guy and three questionable young ladies came in and started smoking a hookah I was like oh okay ? the wait staff was really friendly. You will spend about $30 a person on food. The fried plantains and mashed potatoes are really good. I would eat the food here again however I would order it to go because I don't like loud music. We came about 9pm and they were completely empty until the man and the ladies showed up.

The only Dominican thing about this restaurant was the bachata. I ordered chicharrón de pollo, and they served me fried chicken Brest, my wife ordered mofongo with chicharrón de cerdo and the pork was so hard, it was unbeatable, thumbs down to this place.

Great food! Great service! I had the Boca Chica fried fish and took the sancocho home. Both were not disappointing! Smith provided the best service I've had in a long time at a Charlotte restaurant. Music wasn't too loud, which made it even more perfect. Will definitely be going back.
