I ordered the donkatsu and the yellowtail roll for take out.The yellowtail roll was very good, with minimal rice thats not flattened to death like some other places. It perfectly encompassed a large piece of yellowtail that tasted fresh. It was very addictive in taste and mouth feel for me.The donkatsu was breaded and fried perfectly with minimal breading (which i love) surrounding a nice juicy pork cutlet. Also very good.I definitely want to come back to try the other sushi options.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! This is the best sushi restaurant I've been to in Charlotte and is in the top 3 I've been to in the Country. Sushi was so fresh and good. Everything here was great. I honestly was not expecting this. Lams was closed so we figured what the hell. Great choice. This is now one of my top ranked spots in Charlotte. Not just the Sushi though but the bento boxes, tokoyaki really everything was good. Reasonably priced too. People leaving bad reviews eat at McDonalds daily...

The wait staff was nice and the place was clean. I ordered the Korean spicy ramen. I was very surprised when they came out with my bowl and saw that they used the instant packet of ramen noodles…. I thought since it was a Japanese place, they would use real ramen noodles… My husband got a poke bowl though and was happy with that.

My family and I come eat here all the time. One of the few places that my kids enjoy as well. Thomas, the owner, never skimps out on the quality of his food, and especially, the sushi that he serves. Portions are generous, and service is fast. Kids devour the pork katsu, and my wife loves the miso ramen. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple and authentic Japanese meal!
If I could leave 10 stars I would. I eat there most Fridays after work. It's a treat to myself after a long work week. Never had a bad meal. The Somi roll with avocado is my favorite.
