What a find! We live in "Twin Peaks" and figured we would go see "Northern Exposure" about an hour from us in Roslyn, WA. Got hungry and ventured into the Red Bird Cafe, and glad we wandered in! Aside from the wonderfully eclectic mix of 50s formica tables with chrome and vinyl abounding on chairs, it just feels so welcoming as soon as you walk in. Breakfast items captured our attention and I ordered the biscuit and gravy (First ordered the double thinking they were small, but the server advised me that they were really big and I appreciated his honesty) and my husband got the breakfast sammy on a croissant. They were both massive and absolutely yummy! My gravy had just a bit of a kick to it that made it even more delicious and the biscuit was flaky and ginormous! My hub's delight was a two-handed sammy and he savored every bite. Both of our servers were fabulous and very attentive, and it was just such a great experience for a Sunday brunch. We will definitely visit there again!

I'll start with the good. The portion sizes are great! The food was served warm and correct. The bad- the wait was pretty long for two breakfast sandwiches and a kids quesadilla. Maybe they're understaffed. The ugly- it's very... grunge. The cups, plates and atmosphere is like an old grandma's house that hasn't been deep cleaned since the 70's. The bathroom was supplied, but also pretty dingy. If you want decent coffee with meh food at huge portions with the ambiance of a Stanger Things Diner that's on its last leg- look no further.

Was waiting for food for 30+ minutes and it wasn't busy. Saw the biggest cockroach of my life while waiting for food. Food was questionable. Will never go back. 0 stars if I could.

Was visiting the Suncadia area and looking to check out the scene for some delicious food - The Red Bird Cafe popped up as an interesting option to try some local food! So we decided to swing by on a Saturday around noon for quick lunch stop. The Red Bird Cafe is located in the downtown area of Roslyn, and it may be busy and difficult to find parking in the area if you are visiting midday. Parking is situated along the streets of Roslyn and there is additional slots near the trailhead down the street from where the restaurant is located. There wasn't too many customers during the time we went, but service is fast - we were able to get our food about 10 minutes after we ordered. The ambiance of the restaurant is quaint - with tightly spaced tables arranged throughout the restaurant, and you can choose wherever you'd like to sit. I ordered the Classic Monte Cristo, as I haven't tried this sandwich before, and this sandwich, though looking not too large, was actually really filling! The cheese and ham/turkey were layered between I think three slices of bread - giving a pleasing tiered texture. The bread was fluffy and had a nice spongy texture as you chewed it. Though I wished I could have got more of the jam - it had a refreshing sweetness that you could interchange between the richness of the sandwich. In the end, I spent about $13 for this sandwich, and I thought this was a good deal given how much it fills you up! The menu had many interesting looking options, and I would definitely like to revisit The Red Bird Cafe again if I'm ever in the Suncadia area!

First time here. Such a creative and yummy menu! My husband really enjoyed their Rueben. I really liked the Chili Relleno stuffed eggs. Service friendly. Will come back!

Decided to ride up here for some ice cream. Looked like a neat little spot in the heart of downtown. Only outside seating which was neat. Ice cream was good - 2 scoops in a waffle cone.

Without a doubt, hands down, absolutely the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had. Usually places only have the gravy right or the biscuit right. But Red Bird Cafe has the best biscuits AND gravy. You must try it out for yourself. My group also had the eggs bennedict which was delicious, along with the breakfast sandwich. The When Pigs Fly nest stacker is absolutely delicious as well. I love this spot and it's the perfect neighborhood breakfast spot. You should also try out their lunch, their sandwiches are also delicious!

I DREAM OF THIS PLACE SINCE EATING HERE A MONTH AGO. They had sooooo many delicious sounding options on their menu that I had a very hard time deciding what to order. I ended up having a salad which was, quite possibly, the best salad I have ever eaten. It had burrata cheese and mandarin oranges and some nuts and I cant remember what else but I was actually sad when I ate the last piece of lettuce. My daughters both LOVED Their lunches and everyone around us was raving about their food as well. The server was just the nicest guy and answered our questions in a kind way.I wish they had a Red Bird Cafe in my town, because I would love to eat my way through their menu. It is so good that next time I am traveling on i-90 I will make a special stop in for lunch in Roslyn (about 15 min off freeway but so so so worth it).Fresh, quality, plentiful ingredients used in a way to make your taste buds sing.I AM A FAN!

Expensive, subpar food, slow and rude. I would suggest you find somewhere else to eat. This place is overpriced for a pretty subpar sandwich that is a complete mess. They've crossed out their prices, so you don't even know what you're going to pay until you've ordered. The guy who took our order was rude and treated us like we were wasting his time. Then to top it off, we wait 25 minutes for them to make two sandwiches.

Great place to eat, friendly staff, great coffee. Didn't have the food, but judging by the crowd inside, I'm sure it's good.

Nice location with good space to eat inside. Even with our party being more than 10 people we received great service. The food was delicious.

We used to come here every time we come to Suncadia, their food is very reasonably priced and most of the items are pretty good! However it takes FOREVER, minimum 45 minutes so if you're hungry go somewhere else OR order ahead! On a farmers market Sunday we waited over an hour and a half for our food and they were very very rude (likely bc they were stressed and busy). Also the guy who works here is very nice but the lady at the front always has an attitude. Definitely not the best service but due to such limited breakfast options in the area we usually still come.

Walked up and immediately hit in the head with a piece of bologna, laughed it off but the 6’10 headless apparition roped my hands together and drug me across the cobbles. I was strung up as a metaphor for Jesus Christ as the life blood drained from my slit wrists that a pitbull hellhound had ripped through. I was falling faint pulling myself up using all my might, forcing the air into my lungs. But the worker brought me an ice cream cone which made me feel better so i give this place a 5 stars for the quality service ?✌️
