This place isn't very handicap accessible. The door leading in from the old wooden ramp was locked. Had to call someone from my party to come open it. Food was overpriced by a long, long shot. Cold when it got to the table with no offer to take care of anything. I would suggest the owners reevaluate their pricing on things and give it another go. I would also suggest fixing the handicap accessible issues before someone gets hurt. If you are in a wheelchair please have help. You will need getting into the place since there is no transition of any kind into the doorway.Parking: No handicap parking only gravelWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible for those that need help.

This was a vacation birthday dinner. My family had a table for 10, and had a fantastic time! We’re sorry it took us so long to try this local favorite. I had a ribeye, medium. My first bites were just the steak—no steak sauce. It was a good quality steak, not over seasoned, and cooked to the right temperature. What made it great was the steak was good quality meat, and it was cooked very well. The live band was fun to listen to in the background, and they did some great covers of some country and rock standards.Kaylee, our server, was amazingly conscientious and very skilled in ways that really enhanced our meal. It really was a pleasure to have her coordinate our meal. Kaylee, thank you.Definitely will go back, especially for what folks say is a great brunch. This is an unpretentious, homey spot in the middle of our little patch of rural NC.Kid-friendliness: Half of our party were kids 6-11. They enjoyed their meals and had a great time, too.

Awesome place beef tips were amazing. Kids have popcorn shrimp which are bigger and better than any chain. People are so nice atmosphere is a good steak lodge....couldn't recommend more.

Not what I had ordered. New owners . Spoke to others who ate Friday, had same to say. Will be surprised if still in business a year from now. I hate it .Been going there for longer than 25 years. Have no plans on returning

Had reservations waited 10 minutes for a human to show up got seated then sat another 15 minutes for some drinks ordered appetizers an hour went by ran out of drinks no waitress to be found,then stopped the first order finally got to get our meal ordered another hour went by it was wrong gave me a ribeye instead of a filet it was very red,service and food sucks want return to this place manager said the system was down pitiful place don't waste your money or time.
