“Cool place with good food. Staff were friendly and attentive. Had the yuca fries that were tasty. The mofongo was good but dry…and was a bit off. I think they add pork rinds from a bag. Not sure but that what it tasted like. The Cuban sandwich was decent as well.Although I didn’t love it, I would go back to try some of the other stuff on the menu.Also be aware…no restroom.”

They fixed the speaker for starters, absolutely superb, she was very attentive even though I went through the drive thru and repeated back my order to make sure she didn't make any mistakes. Further, she explained WHY it took a little longer, effective communication, no mistakes and extremely kind. Even though the subs may not be as good of a quality as nearby competitors, it's worth picking them because of this interaction.”

“A rare find in our area - a truly delightful Indian restaurant that combines good food, great service and a lovely location at the Hilton Garden Inn. I recommend the mango lamb curry and the naan bread. Amanda our attentive waitress guided us to order the perfect Indian beer to complement a wonderful meal. Don’t miss it.”

“I’m new to NC and have been scoping out all of the coffee shops! Hands down, the Lil’ Bean Cafe has the best iced chia latte in Jacksonville! And the sandwiches are delicious!!! The way they toast their sourdough bread is perfection and the ingredients used tasted super fresh. I really like that the shop is dog friendly (even indoors) and that they have a shaded outdoor seating area. Also, the staff is really friendly! Great local spot in Jacksonville that I would highly recommend to others.Dietary restrictions: I have an egg allergy and was excited to find out that they have a variety of food options. Definitely something here for everyone.”

“I go to this amazing restaurant about 3 times a month, sometimes 3 times in a week. Their amazing food, family-owned atmosphere, and incredibly affordable prices, are 3 very big reasons I keep coming back. The 3 employees who I know, Charles, Mark, and (don't hate me if I spell this wrong) Kak are always happy and smiling. The food is absolutely amazing. Authentic flavors and dishes, that are always cooked the exact same way, I've never received an order of anything that I did not enjoy, all while spending less than I would at a chain restaurant. I ask a million questions and have never been talked down to, so please if you're venturing into new foreign food, ask them. They're incredibly knowledgeable and have no problem passing the knowledge. All in all I'm going to end with this - sometimes the line is out the door for a reason. If you're considering eating here, just do it. You'll be back.”

“Originally I would’ve given my experience and food critique 3 stars (and 3 stars is being extremely generous). The waitress was pleasant but could not answer any basic questions about the menu. I gave it a one star because the owner came out in a fairly aggregated manner and began to accuse us of eating all the food and not paying for it. My friends and I let her go in for a minute before we showed her the $70 + $30 tip receipt that we had in fact paid. The well-tipped waitress, who should’ve explained the situation correctly, was nowhere to be found. There were 100 other tactful ways to have handle this situation. My suggestion to owners; 1- invest in experienced waiters that can elevate your business and answer pertinent questions in the menu; 2- Hire a consultant who can train the staff to handle situations accordingly. There is no reason why the owner/chef should come out defensively accusing customers of not paying. All whilst waving our leftover food baskets telling my party “You ate all this food, you need to pay!” Based on the food alone, I would not return. The overall experience sealed the deal for me.”

“I pass this place everyday and finally today I decided I was going to try it. I had a friend tell me the portions were too small for the price but I said to heck with it let me see for myself. “If you just PCS from Japan and your looking for that grade AAA+ Sushi ? and or Sashimi. Then you need to come here. I have been all over Jacksonville and Surf city looking for that QUALITY Sashimi. They all FAILED me ?. However, I was impressed with this place. They know me very well. Ask for the Salmon Sashimi only 6 orders of 3. With vegetables ? tempura. It’s to die for. The price is perfect and once again. The food is spot on.”

“I quite literally just finished eating my meal from here and it was absolutely delicious. I got a chocolate shake, a mushroom Swiss burger, and chili cheese fries and all three were so damn good. The portions are so filling, the guy working was so nice, and the prices are literally insane!(in the best way possible) all that for under 20$...pretty much unheard of nowadays. The difference between jeffs burgers and the other burger places around here is that this place is actually good! Everything was perfect. Price, taste, customer service. I will absolutely be coming back and bringing my husband with me.”

“This is a great addition to our downtown. We went last night and found a lively place with comfortable atmosphere and a great selection of beers. They have wine as well. The service was great and the beer was excellent. Prices were right as well. We saw several friends there. The place is dog friendly and has several events lined up. The pub opens up into another large shared space so it can easily accommodate a big crowd. This is a big hit! We will be returning soon! Fortunately it’s just a short walk from our house.”

“Hearty 9-Grain Pancake Slam!!! It’s so hard to describe, but trust me, the texture is soooo good. Don’t miss the Kids Eat Free (1 per adult meal), currently on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 4-10pm. Denny’s is one of VERY few restaurants my kids will clean their whole plates (and ask for more!).…but pass on the stuffed animal claw machine. The tension on the claw is set too low to pick anything up. …Or maybe I’ve just lost my touch? You do you. I’ll save my money for another side of crispy bacon.*Also recommend trying the strawberry stuffed french toast. A bit pricey if you’re a regular like us, but soo worth it to splurge every now and then when you’re willing to give in to your sweet tooth’s temptation.Hash browns and chicken tenders are also recommended, by the way.Kid-friendliness: Kids eat free on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 4-10pm (1 per paying adult).”

“Southern Harvest food is absolutely phenomenal. My wife was humming with every bite. We eaten great food all over the country and she raved about how this place should be on Food Network. I had the fried legs and thigh meal with mac n cheese, green beans and cornbread and loved it. She had the fried catfish, collard greens, mac n cheese, yams and cornbread. You can't go wrong with whatever you order here.”
