Let's start with ordering inside. It's wasn't confusing to me but was to some. It was a slow process. Ordered the pastrami rueben. It was really good no doubt. Could use a bit more meat. Should be a option. I would order it again.

I have always wanted to try this upscale bakery in downtown Mocksville. I recently had the chance to meet its newest owner and thought I'd give it a try. As I suddenly realized I did not have a birthday cake for my husband's birthday. The store itself is cute with bakèry themed items and a display filled with tempting treats. As I waited for writing on my cake, I viewed the cards, and the first card I picked had a dead fly stuck inside it! At first, I thought it was a punch line. I didn't get it, but it was not.I was then called to pick up my cake and asked to view the writing on it, and was a little disappointed. Regardless, I brought the cake to the dinner celebration, and it was enjoyed by all who found it moist and delicious. I did not enjoy the frosting myself. But the cake was quickly eaten and another year was celebrated. Overall, I would purchase some of the items in the store. But maybe go for more of the display treats next time.

I ordered a birthday cake for my wife and arraigned to pick up on Saturday. When I arrived there were a few people in the bakery. I waited for someone to acknowledge me however that didn't happen, but when i saw another person come in after me I asked for the manager to cancel my order. The manager was so kind to me as we spoke in calm voices about my displeasure, she really de-escalated the situation by taken my mind off of the dissatisfaction I harbored in a very short time. I wanted to commend her for excellent customer experience during our encounter.Thank you!Parking: NA
