Chef Peter was fantastic, highly recommend!! We booked him and his team to serve dinner for my wife's birthday party at our house and everything was better than we could have hoped for! He was very professional leading up to the date and day of. He allowed us the flexibility to create our own menu with our favorite foods and then worked with us to refine them for optimal taste. He was very friendly and personable and everyone at the birthday party enjoyed chatting with him. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend Chef Peter and Carolina Gourmet to all!

We hired Chef Peter to prepare and serve a Christmas dinner for 12 in our home, and we were so impressed! The whole experience was flawless from start to finish. It began with prompt communication from Chef Peter about our menu options and availability. Then, I worked with him on wine pairings for each course. On the night of our dinner, Chef Peter and Jennifer arrived promptly and brought everything they would need to execute the meal. They were very thorough in their preparation of the meal and design of each plate. The food was exceptional, and Chef Peter took great care to explain each course. When they were finished, they cleaned up and left my kitchen in the way they found it. Could not recommend them enough and hope to have an occasion to bring them back soon!

We were wow’d by all 8-courses of his surf and turf menu with preference customizations. All the planning before was a breeze, our night flowed on time, and the kitchen was spotless at their conclusion. Our food-lovin birthday girl was even able to assist him with a few fun steps in preparation before Jennifer, chef’s amazing assistant, helped to serve the remaining courses at the dining table. Chef provided courtesy wine parings to his menu which we easily found at Total Wine that just helped to elevate the full dining experience. We’re thrilled such an accomplished and personable chef is right here in our Lake Norman neighborhood for memorable nights like these. Already dreaming our next magical night with Carolina Gourmet! He and his team were lovely to work with and every single dish was perfectly prepared and so good! My favorite was the deviled eggs. Oh! And the goat cheese stuffed peppers, and the beef tenderloin, and whatever he did to the vegetables..............I recommend them wholeheartedly!
