Just a very bad experience overall. The place was very busy, the dining room was dirty, and the service was non-existent . My food ( after waiting a very long time) came out cold and inedible. I was so disappointed that I couldn't even complain. It would not have made any difference. There you have it !

Been a while since I’ve been to CB and taking the gamble at this location proved no different than my last three visits. Sadly, there is a systemic training issue that needs to addressed. I don’t care if it’s your first job or you are a senior lead waiter. Checked in online (which does not update your wait time. Big flaw). It said it was a 35 min wait. Waited 25 mins and went in and was told we were 4th. Another 10 mins and we were seated.However, this only began our delay. Waitress was definitely new and likely her first job ever. Tried to give her grace and the benefit of the doubt. Saw her make several mistakes with other tables and ours was no exception. She made no less than 10 trips to our table when we asked questions she did not know and she would be gone for 5 or more minutes at time. Then when she would come back, she would forget part of what we asked. I had to keep reminding her. She would keep coming back only serving one thing at a time. Like, I needed more creamer for coffee and she would only bring back a couple like it was being rationed. I asked for more sweetener at the same time as the creamer and she would make a separate trip for that.All this delay created inefficiencies and essentially her running around but not accomplishing anything. She only had a handful of tables at that. I felt sorry for her, but after 45 mins waiting on our food I was getting frustrated. The food was CB good, but everything that encompassed my last several experiences, one in Matthews, NC where I just walked out after not getting served, made me realize that Cracker Barrel has gone down hill big time. Sad, very sad. I will not be going back to any location… ever! Just not worth the headache.

We visited otw home from SC and had a great server, Brian P. The food was very good as well. I always love they're meatloaf and green beans (taste like they're cooked on bacon fat (yum). Love to shop the store too.

I’ve been to the Mooresville location 5 times in the last 6 months. 3 of the 5 times I had waitress issues where the waitress never refilled drinks, checked on us and got our ticket wrong AND each of those times the food was cold. It was a different waitress every time so it’s a training problem. Anyway… long waits for cold food. The pancakes are good, even when they are cold, so there’s that…
