I am so sad to see this happen....I love the food here...but I will never order to go food from lake norman tavern again. Charged $1.00 for EACH to go container. Even the small one for the coleslaw. What a bummer. These styrofoam containers are so inexpensive. Raise prices a bit on food..but please don't charge me for a to go box. Its a shame..but we will not be ordering to go food from this restaurant anymore. I wonder if you eat there and ask for a to go box...do they charge $1.00 for each to go box?

My experience here was not very good at all.I can tell you that I was very shocked.Myself, and several of my employees were looking for a nice place that has good food with decent lunch specials when we were working on a project in Mooresville, North Carolina.I asked her customers if they knew of any local restaurants that had good food with a decent lunch special so that I could pick up some lunch for myself and several of my employees.I wanted to grab something relatively quick and close, and my client mentioned to me this particular restaurant that was literally right around the corner.We will try any place at least once, but this was not a good experience at all other than very nice waitress who took my order.She was awesome which is the only reason this place is getting it to review.When I pulled in, I noticed an abnormal amount, just trash and debris in the parking lot.I really did not pay too much attention. It was just my first observation.I went inside to put my order in.How was a few minutes late for the cut off on lunch specials and was not aware of what time they ended.Amazing immediately said don’t worry about it. We’ll get it in. I’m happy to try this out. Which is the only reason. This place is getting a two star review but she was great.I believe that the lunch specials were around $10 each, which is not ridiculous by any stretch of the imagination.When I heard that the lunch special was meatloaf, I got really excited, I love meatloaf!I ordered several meatloaf specials to go.The order came out relatively quick, and I paid for them and left.On the way back to my truck I could not help but to notice again, all of the trash in the parking lot and on the edges of the parking lot.This to me is a big deal!I’m not unreasonable and it takes a lot for things to make me uncomfortable.What I could not believe, was saying a used condom in the parking lot right next to where I parked as I was getting ready to leave.I understand things being random so much other trash around, I could not help but to wonder if I made a good choice by choosing this place to get food from.Everything inside of me just kept telling myself. Don’t think about it too much.I couldn’t get over all of the other trash that clearly has been there for a while and giving no attention to.This is a place that serves food, things happen.It was disgusting !I kept telling myself in the short ride back to the project ” hopefully the food is good”When I got back to the project, I took everything out of the bags and made sure everything was ready to go for amazing people that work for me and I wish that everybody considering going here could’ve seen the unanimous look on all these peoples faces.And we are not that, nor did I tell them about the trash on the ground, or at the very least the condom that was left on the ground, whether it was used or not, I didn’t look too much into it.Just saying that makes my skin crawl!The meatloaf was cold, hard and just wasn’t good.Everyone of us was very disappointed and two of the people that work extremely hard for me, took their first bite and closed it up and thanked me for getting lunch but asked me please never go to this place again.It sucked in this place other than that very nice and friendly woman is a place that I will never go to again, but if anybody asked me about it, I will tell them don’t even consider it for multiple reasonsMaybe it was just a bad day.This was not only my experience, but I didn’t have the heart to tell anyone of them. What I observed before I even looked at the food.This is my honest review, my recommendations is to avoid this place!The whole experience put a negative haze on the rest of the day. I've been hearing about this place for some time and finally made the opportunity to try it. Very local bar kind of atmosphere. Live music the evening I was there, playing music everyone knows. Decent beer selection, with more than couple local brews. Good drink ? selection and a good menu selection. I definitely recommend and definitely plan to go back.

This is my second time I think being there. First time was good, but… I just got it and wasn’t that good. The Nachos were ok but not that great. There were few nachos and some were in the middle on the plate so I had to wait and reach for the ones in there. I got the chicken tenders and the bad part was the garlic fries. All you can taste was garlic, nothing else. But overall probably like a 5/10 experience. Yep

Don't let the dive bar facade stop you from trying this neighborhood gem. The old school diner vibe is enhanced by friendly staff who greet you warmly and with genuine hospitality. Hubby and I were hooked by the sumptuous lobster mac and cheese, a generous heaping of gooey deliciousness. Ahi tacos were great, accompanied by old bay fries with yummy cheese sauce. Hubby's salmon tacos were a tad dry, but his tots made up for that. If I have a heart attack, at least my last meal was a good one! Would be 5 stars if they reno the bathroom ;)

First time here and was very happy with our food and service. I had ahi tuna tacos and hubby had fried shrimp. Both were very good! Next time I will try the wings because they looked amazing.

I had not been to this spot in so long, I barely recognized it when I walked in. Everything was bright, clean and welcoming! An enjoyable evening with live music made for a wonderful dinner, but the person who really made our night was Sir Tyler! Impressed doesn’t begin to describe our interaction with such a fantastic server! He was completely slammed but his service did not suffer! Ten out of ten for Tyler, all day. Thank you for such great service!
