Firstly, the value was decent for the food. Everything was just completely drenched in grease in terms of onion rings and fries but everything was hot and really good.THE MOST IMPORTANT THING!! Jeff is the sweetest most helpful gentleman I have had the pleasure to meet. It is not every day you see someone checking tables cleaning spills and wasn't yelling at poor underpaid staff to do anything. He was a pleasure to be around and we are looking forward to returning.

I stopped in to get something at Steak ‘n Shake, and shows it over chipotle mainly to get in and get out.It was not a pleasant experience.Fries were cold, person at the window had a completely dead energy. Wanted to charge me for barbecue sauce and then handed me the bag and pretended he didn’t hear my request for ketchup.Took a lot longer than usual and just a whole attitude and experience was ridiculous. And a cheeseburger, cold fries, and a milkshake with $13.Even though this is not horribly ridiculous, it is by far over price for the product and service and I would advise to pick another location if you’re hungry right now!Parking: The biggest reason I’m giving this place a reasonably high score is because the burger was really good and a good portion and there was plenty of parking for a truck and work trailer.

I only gave one star because I couldn’t give less. The place was DISGUSTING. Tables were dirty, the high chair looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since they reopened. I did not like the self service order and the drink machine was the dumbest thing I’ve seen. Food came out and the fries were the best part. Burger was tasteless and the only thing we could taste was the bun that tasted old. On all 3 burgers. The patty melt had a hair in it and milkshake tasted like chemicals. Guy cooking burgers had a longish beard and hair with nothing covering it. I’m guessing the manager, whoever we talked to, was extremely rude. Will not go back. Should’ve left when we walked in. Bathrooms were disgusting.

Food took about 15 minutes for them to make. Milkshake was great. My fries were disgustingly saturated with salt. So gross. Burger was mediocre at best. Every table looked like it hadn't been wiped down all day. Garbage overflowing. When I finished my shake I placed my glass cup in the bin where there were 8 other used glasses. Mind u at this point I was the only one there so who knows how long they've been sitting there. Stack of dirty trays and baskets just sitting by the garbage. Crap all over the floor. Just an absolute disgusting place today.
