Small Japanese restaurant. We were skeptical at first appearance but the food was great and so reasonably priced and they guy working up front was so nice and accommodating!! Definitely recommend this place!!

Never get their egg drop soup or their salmon sushi. I spent all day Tuesday in the emergency room with food poisoning. I never give bad reviews. But I thought I was going to die. We bought the mail on Sunday Monday I woke up a little and had to call into work slept all day and then in the middle of the night I was stuck over the toilet couldn't even hold water down. Do not eat there. Once again I have never been that sick in my life spent all day Tuesday in the ER room I got paperwork to prove it

If I could give this place a ZERO, I would My daughter place an order over the phone at 7:18pm and I arrive at the restaurant at 8:03pm, the attendant acknowledged me but didn’t ask if I had a pick up order until 10 minutes later, told her my name n she said they are still working on my order. So I waited another 5 mins as she finally ask the kitchen if they had finished my order they said they did not have an order for my name. The attendant proceeded to ask me to give her my order again and I did, she tries to ring me up, and then I ask her how much longer she says another 15 minutes, I told her. “ No Thank You”, I walked out with ZERO food and that’s exactly the rate this restaurant should get. A ZERO, and the restaurant is dirty, old, and needs new management, I honestly don’t know why they are still in business?. Order at your own RISK‼️

Food was okay. I ordered chicken egg rolls and they gave me veggie eggs rolls they were hot and fresh tho so it’s okay and then I didn’t get a lot of steak the broccoli was hard and wasn’t cooked fully and it all needed extra teriyaki sauce the rice was dry but I put shrimp sauce on it and it was

Very impressed with the amount of food and the different options they offered. I got the hibachi chicken with fried rice, 2 crab rangoons and a ranch salad. Very good price for the amount of food. I used DoorDash to order the food. Definitely have their competitors beat on DoorDash.

I placed an order online, got charged, went to the restaurant just to find out it was closed. Now I’m driving a rounding looking for food. They have an order now button and their store hours say they are open today. Waste of time and

The guy was EXTREMELY nice and the food was amazing! We didn't know really what to expect going in but it really is good. He even gave us cheesecake on the house for my husband's birthday! We will be back and bringing more mouths when we do!

We haven't been here in quite some time. I'd say about 4-5 years. We moved from Mooresville to Charlotte and now reside in Lincolnton. After having my car repaired at Randy Marion Chevrolet in Mooresville my wife wanted sushi and it was 7pm. She suggested Tokyo bc she always got it fresh there when we lived in Mooresville and the lady there was always so sweet. Upon entering we were greeted by Yusef who had the brightest smile and most awesomest customer service. He kindly said his sushi maker guy wouldn't be back until tomorrow but apologized and quickly helped us come up with something else. He was very friendly and accommodating as well as great with his customer service skills. We found out through small talk he was part of the family by marriage and the sweet lady we talked of earlier in this review was indeed his aunt by marriage. He also told of us his Uncle establishment out by us in Lincolnton which we've heard numerous occasions is a awesome place too which we will definitely go! Please go see Yusef at Tokyo Restaurant! The food was great too even after my hour plus wait in traffic because of a telephone/ electric pole downed from the storms recently.
