Had to give this place 3 stars due to waiting an hour for our food!! Totally unacceptable especially since we had a 3 hour drive ahead of us. Service was good but waiting an hour just ruined the vibe! Food was good once we received it but definitely not worth the wait!

Amazing place. Food is 5 star and atmosphere is very charming. I had the pleasure of dining here on a Wednesday evening. On this particular evening I happened to be dining alone, so I set at the bar. Had a great cocktail and asked for the special. ? cooked and also was created by the chef. Music playing in the background as we chatted. I highly recommend Casa San Carlo as one of the best restaurants in Morehead.
Love this place it never disappoints. I had the grouper special and it was incredible. Gail was a very proficient and attentive server. I again would highly recommend! Thank you for another great evening experience!

Buyer beware! Lots of hidden costs! Split plate fee. Online it says six dollars they charged eight and you were not informed of this by your server. Extra bread cost extra as well. Mozzarella was cold bread was not easy to pull apart nor cut. Chicken Parm was burned, served with shell pasta, which had not been properly drained, therefore making the tomato sauce runny. Way too pricey for the lack of service and the food.

This place was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere was wonderful. From the music, to the mafia-inspired wall decor, I was very impressed. The server was very friendly and gave us excellent recommendations, and the food was perfect. Literally the best Italian good I've ever tasted. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
The best Italian restaurant in Morehead, in my personal opinion. Love the owners and the staff. We have never had a bad dish or bad experience.

My husband and I and some friends had dinner on Valentine’s Day there. The food was not good and the service was worse. We were there 45 minutes before we got our drinks, and only three of us got our drinks. We had to remind the waitress several times to bring our friend her drink. We were there a whopping 2 1/2 hours just for dinner. None of us were happy with the food or the service.
